He is the largest christain parliamentary block and even though you hate him, he has reinstated christain representation in government. Lebanon has been controlled by hariri(Saudi) and Syria since 1990s. Hezballah, amal, psp, mustaqbul and the christains that ignored the boycott,(aka Boutros harb, fares bouiz, lahoud, Murr, etc,)

Once this Sunni and Shiite war arrives in Lebanon, the christains will no longer be able to hide beside their split allegiance. If it arrives in Lebanon like the Sunni are trying so hard, the christains will be forced to unite.

When he declared the shebaa farms Syrian and produced maps "proving" their not Lebanese... To when he declared hezballah's telecommunication network illegal.
