Every one else, including mustaqbul party, The LF, the psp and other so called independents in the m14 have all voted for hezballah as a legitimate resistance party. Their arms have been legitimized under the government of Sinora. The LF, mustaqbul and the psp were in an electoral alliance in 2005 against the fpm in baabda!
So settle down! Like it or not, every government has legitimized the resistance through parliament! The only other way is with the fpm that works with them through trust not through the lies and trechory!
FT... I can't agree with this one. The U.S. marines were not invading and uninvited. They were invited in 56 by Presidant Chamoun to help against the Nassar inspired "Arab" revolution. Then they were invited in by presidant Gemayel to help in the aftermath of the Israeli invasion. The US Marines, French and British all deployed to help reinstate Lebanese state authority and pressured the Israeli withdrawal! At the time it was against communists and Israeli fascism. Unfortunately the rare gesture of good will was seen as weakness and another front for the Islamic republic of iranian's war and revenge for what happened in Iran!

The christains in Syria have remained very neutral and there are many reports of christains siding with rebels and even a christain as the head of the opposition government.
