Democracy is an essential element for progress in all Arab countries, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, etc. All freedom loving people should support these movements anywhere they occur.
Unfortunately, the negative experience of the Shiaa Hezbollah in Lebanon backfired on these minorities because of the justified concern that Iran is manipulating the Shiaa communities to dominate the region, as they've done in Lebanon and Iraq. Until Iran/Hezbollah are neutralized, even the legitimate Shiaa freedom movements will suffer.
I am amazed by the culture of ignorance in certain Lebanese communities, where assassins are celebrated as heroes and dead victims are vilified as traitors, Israeli agents and other charming adjectives.
Unfortunately to the detractors, International Justice doesn't work like their loud Lebanese political discourse around argeelehs, where the loudest voice wins. International justice is slow, methodical, deliberate, and the convicted will pay in the end.
Is anyone surprised that Hezbollah and its allies are resorting to these tactics? After around the year of 2000, they became a bona fide terrorists group. Just look at what they've done on the Lebanese street, their involvement in killing civilians in South America, Syria, their drug dealings, their loyalty to an outlaw regime in Iran that kills its own Shiaa citizens who yearn for freedom.
Yes, they give cash to poor Shiaa in Lebanon, but so did the Mafia to poor Italian families. In return, thugs demand total loyalty, threaten, and kill those that stand in their way.
Let them have a real election in Syria to see what the "majority of Syrian people" want. How about that simple concept that seems incomprehensible to the followers of Iran/Hezbollah/Assad? Is it only guns and intimidation you understand?
Assad is the face of a criminal clique whose days are numbered. The Syrian people will be free. Iran/Hezbollah isn't too far behind.
(Aoun Clowns don't really matter, and will try to find another group to brown-nose)
I'm afraid nothing will work until Hezbollah is neutralized and the Syrian regime is changed. The terrorists now control Lebanon because of the "resistance" arms are now pointed towards the Lebanese.
I wish the Hezbollah followers and The Aoun Clowns would use another argument besides the usual "West blah blah, Israel, Imperialism, Zionism, blah blah blah... ," but I will not hold my breath. As you see, they are intellectually bankrupt.
Hezbollah has no credibility except in the eyes of the lemmings. The whole world knows who you are and what you stand for. A terrorist group of outlaws in hot, smelly, dark bunkers.
Iran's puppets and Aoun's Clowns are dreaming if they think the world will allow them to whitewash the crimes. Like other terrorists who thought they were immune, Hezbollah will pay. Their benefactors in Syria got a tiger by the tail, and Iran is in the world cross hairs.
Justice is a prerequisite for peace.

03 July 2011, 00:17The search for the murder suspect will be so "secret," even those conducting it will not know.

Legal Expert Says Nasrallah’s Evidence Baseless, Computers Document Belongs to UNTSO
03 July 2011, 19:15This has nothing to do with evidence. Nasrallah is playing to his zombies who'll believe anything he says. If he tells them to eat his poo, they will.
If he really wants to counter the tribunal, he should address the evidence. Anything else is just smoke screens.
