Lebanon needs berri and hariri for stability. I hope sunis and she3as make the historic peace and musla7a that we desperately need. I do not want to see lebanon torn between suni and she3a fundamentalists. Merry Xmas.
Russia wants to get out of the syrian mess with minimum damage after they realized they have placed their bets on the losing horse. Even if the regime kills a million syrian, god forbid, it is still doomed and cant be saved.
A common sense question: would russia, the country that has been funding and protecting assad war machine for the past two years, invite khateeb to moscow if assad was doing well and has a chance to survive? russia is pretty much inviting the enemy for talks.
Moaz khatib is a good person my friend. Hold your horses and learn more about him before you say stuff. In fact he is moderate and very inclusive. Did you know that israel is now building a 90 km wall in the golab heights? shouldnt this be an eye opener to you?? for over 40 years they were not scared of the muqawim bashar and now all of a sudden they are worried about the changes in Syria.
bashar does not want to 'sit down', if it comes to him he would kill 1 million syrians to 'sit down' in power and bring his son hafez after him, 20 months and his war machine is going full speed and you're still not convinced?? ya zalami he used everything from migs to scud missles, 7aje man.. second, quit using the wahabi line it does not sell, aren't there thuosands of she3a lebanese working in KSA? time to be rational and think of masla7at lebanon, wouldnt you rather see hariri and nasrala make peace than see nasrala and suni jihadis go to war?
The region is witnessing the crumble of the sayks-piko map, after syria comes iraq, and it seems that the new map will be a sectarian one. After syria, iraq will go through the storm and of course a fake country called lebanon where ma 7a da btee' tani.
The revolution will succeed, but Syria will become rubble pretty much like afghanistan after kabul fell to the rebels in 91.. that is the only price that israel and the US accept for losing the Assad family, the true gaurdians of the golan heights. In few years we will see US & Israeli drones chasing jihadis around Syria. For those who were brainwashed to think that the US was anti-bashar, i refer you to clinton's words when the revolution started in dar3a "bashar is a reformer" she said, i also refer you to Madeline Albright meeting with bashar during hafez assad funeral when she explicitly supported bashar on a "peaceful transition" to presidency.
Racism is also between different religions so bassil is wrong there. Had those refugees been christian bassil would welcome them with arms wide open. Why dont we just say things as they are, this is an artificiAl country full of hate and does not deserve to survive.
Hizbustan taking over the country militarily is the end of hizbustan. In the bigger picture of the region hizbustan is not as big as it is in small lebanon and can not take on so many enemies. Most likely they will readjust, scale back and adapt. What u r suggesting is suicide
