Everyone may think differently, but I think the heat is rising on the Salafis, not on Assad, and the end of the armed ganged it near. The proof being that all the Salafi supporters, including the Saudis, the Jordanians, the US ambassador to Syria, and even Erdogan of Turkyeh are manifesting panic behavior.

If you do, you might also see the reason for the higher casualties in non-security people. In Syria you have armed gangs conducing terrorist operations. IN Bahrain, you have a peaceful opposition that did not fire a shot.

No one here is denying that there is a legitimate movement for change in Syria. Assad himself has conceded. The point is that there is foreign Sunni interference to topple the Alaoui regime. This interference is put to action by arming Salafi terrorists. This interference is not interested in the significant steps that Assad has taken toward change. Today, this interference is receiving the reaction it deserves from the regime.

Lebanon has never been a state. It has always been a farm, and 21 years of Hariri rule have only made things worse.

While waiting for a Lebanese state to take shape, I am glad these men are looking after our land.
