Pathetic! Saad is trying to find Sunni support/popularity in Syria to compensate for his loss of the same in Lebanon. Is Saad will be appointed PM of Syria and will leave Lebanon alone, then I am going to personally join the fight against Bashar now! LOL
And where did Naharnet get this info? From Aljazeera (of course) who is in turn quoting unnamed sources. I have checked the UNHCHR website and found nothing on the subject. I dare anyone to post a reliable link.
The only reference to this trash article on the Internet is on CNN's iReport. iReport is a section of the website where regular people post "news reports" that are not verified by field reporters. The one who posted this article has the picture of Masoud Rajawi, the head of Mujahideen Khalq, the anti Iranian regime organization that is also labeled a terrorist organization by the USA and many other countries.
So this conforms my previous posts, that the purpose of this propaganda is to smear the image of Hezbollah and Iran and has nothing to do with democracy change in Syria.
Below is the disclaimer by CNN about iReport articles. So when Naharnet reports such crap, it speaks a lot about their credibility as a news source.
" iReport is the way people like you report the news. The stories in this section are not edited, fact-checked or screened before they post. Only ones marked 'CNN iReport' have been vetted by CNN."
@Armen + future_vision: Sorry guys, but Elnashra has published this crap the same way Naharnet has published it, i.e. without verification and without citing a credible source. It is no more reliable than this Naharnet article. If this were true, wouldn't you think that UNHCHR would have something about it on their website?
I read posts above and I laugh. Lebanon has been ruled by one man for some time now, not since Mikati was appointed PM, so what is the fuss all about? The proof that Lebanon has been ruled by one man is the manner in which Saad Hariri was fired and replaced.
@bipartisan: you like to present yourself as a hall new observer (LOL about "hall"), but it seems you need new eyeglasses so that you can observe better. Look around you and you will see that what is happening in Tripoli has nothing to do with the hall (LOL) Arab uprising but rather everything to do with Lebanese politics and the defeat of the Hariris and their Wahabi supporters from the hall (LOL) of Saudi Arabia.
