Obama Calls on Assad to Step Aside

18 August 2011, 19:06

Hey Shab, when you see Ghaddafi gone, say Bye Bye to Assad (remember Ghaddafi doesn't even have the support of Russia and China behind him).

EU, France, Britain, Germany Urge Assad to Resign

18 August 2011, 19:14

I love the picture. Look at them, perplexed and chaotic. LOL

I am not sure if Assad has lost legitimacy or not (his supporters might be more than the opposition), but if any has lost credibility it's those clowns in the picture. The hypocrites call on Assad to step down while they throw their support for all the Kings and Emirs of the Gulf and the Magreb. If you want the peoples of the World to believe you, then have the same standard everywhere.

Obama Calls on Assad to Step Aside

Obama, how about calling on the kings, Emirs and all Tyrans in the Arab world to also step down, perhaps this would give your purpose some credibility and we will all stand behind you

Geagea: Foreign Ministry Bordering on High Treason by Depriving Expats Right to Vote

18 August 2011, 19:33

I agree, but why didn't you say so when your boss, Saad Hariri, was a sitting on the PM chair?

Obama Calls on Assad to Step Aside

18 August 2011, 19:36

It seems Obama forgot that Assad is Iran's little brother.

If Obama wants to act on his own call, I predict a regional war that will bring about the end of Israel (along with some other Arab regimes) and another humiliating defeat for the US.

Geagea: Foreign Ministry Bordering on High Treason by Depriving Expats Right to Vote

18 August 2011, 21:04

@Mehdi: Yes, Berri and his block was against it but so was Future. This is a feud between Christians and Muslims (Shia + Sunnis), because in the view of the Muslims, the law benefits the Christians only, since there are more Christians abroad.

So, at that time, if he cared about the rights of the Christians, Geagea should have sided with Aoun in this fight, but he did not want to oppose his boss Saad.

Geagea: Foreign Ministry Bordering on High Treason by Depriving Expats Right to Vote

18 August 2011, 22:07

@Mehdi: You are missing my entire point so get them to explain to you what you have not understood. Or get them to answer this question for you: Has the Mustaqbal, led by Saad Hariri and before him the late Rafiq Hariri, been for the expat vote or not? my point being why did not Geagea raise this issue with the government of Hariri in the past. (I know you are saying that the LF supported the FM, but why hasn't geagea been vocal about it with his boss like he is now?

Al-Sayyed Urges STL to Bring False Witnesses to Court to Gain Credibility

18 August 2011, 22:13

@watani: You used this expression twice "a Lebanese law he rammed through parliament". Can you explain what it means? Sayyed was ramming laws into the parliament? What was Rafiq Hariri and his majority bloc in the parliament doing while Sayyed was ramming laws? Oh I forgot. Perhaps they were busy figuring out how to steal downtown Beirut or assign lucrative contracts to friends :)
