Forget about the Lebanese. Some years ago 10,000 people got killed in Hama. What did they West do or say? Nothing. Why, because at that time Syria was not allied with Iran and Hizbullah and in fact was serving the West's interests in Lebanon. As everyone know, the commander who was in charge of the assault on Hama was none other than Rifaat Al-Assad. Where is Rifaat Al Assad now? He is hosted in England where he not only leads a luxurious life, but he is protected by the British authorities.
Ya maniouk how much are you being paid to copy-paste this confessional language? Do you realize ya realist that if a confessional war breaks out you will be crushed like roaches?
Actually, in Lebanon there is one genuine indicator. His name is Samir Geagea. Whenever he makes a prediction, as he often does, we know that the opposite will happen.
No, peace. All I am saying is that the Syrian people should be vigilant as to the motives of the West, that's all. If the West cared about them, it would not be hosting Rifaat Al Assad.
Samsoum is right. The books do not mention the Phalanges ties to Israel since 1956 and their role in being the first to create militias and starting wars. The books do not state clearly that the phalanges, and other Maronite parties have only had personal (familial) ambitions vs. national ambitions and that their methods were always completely self serving. The books need to be revised.
