102 Civilians, 5 Troops Dead as Thousands Rally in Damascus

28 February 2012, 20:04

Mr. peace and others.. only if you read other than Naharnet.. read the Western media, particularly U.S. and all you can see is that they are nowadays talking about Syria's weapons of mass destruction and how impossible it is to attack it (for fear of reprisal). The US never wanted to change Assad. All they are trying to do is to pressure him to break his alliance with Iran/Hizballah. But he has not moved 1cm so far. If today Assad pledged allegiance to US policies, tomorrow he will be declared the best Arab president by the US administration.

Report: Israel Won't Warn U.S. before Iran Strike

28 February 2012, 20:59

Another piece of crap propaganda from the trash bin of the Internet reported by Naharnet.

1) Israel would not dream of doing anything without a US green light first, even during an election period.

2) more importantly, Israel does not have the capability (the necessary weapons) to strike Iran. This is why it has been pressuring the US to do the dirty job for it but the US will not do it. There is too much at stake for American interests.

So any Lebanese dicks who are holding their breaths for this, relax and have a few farts to relieve your pain. :)

Syria Walks Out of U.N. Human Rights Debate

28 February 2012, 21:07

Anybody remembers the Palestinian people's rights? What about the human rights violations in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia?

The UN and all its branches have completely lost credibility. They are no more than a tool to serve the US and the West.

Peace, who told you I support? But at the same time I don't want to see Syria destroyed for the next 50 years, and definitely I don't want to see another Saudi Wahabi regime in my backyard either. There has to be a solution if the goal was really freedom and democracy, but in reality this is not the goal. The goal is tearing up and destroying Syria as was done to Iraq and Libya. The Israeli plan of a "new" middle-east is still in action.

102 Civilians, 5 Troops Dead as Thousands Rally in Damascus

By every finding, including statements by US officials and surveys done in the US and by Al-Jazeera, the majority is still with Assad. If the majority was against him, there would be no need for armed action and he would have collapsed like Mubarak and Ali of Tunisia by demos and civil disobedience alone. The fact that The Bedouins and the West are arming some gangs show that the plan is not freedom for the Syrian people, but destabilization of the country until Assad changes policies. You need to go move your smart butt and go to Syria and see that the people you are talking about, your people, are nothing but a bunch of fanatics trying to impose their will and ideology on the population at large. It is not going to happen, and at this stage, I am all for exterminating them.
