01 July 2011, 09:10

Where is the "honor" in the great US satellite israel? When have they ever lived up to their international obligations of the 42 un resolutions that they are in breach of? hyorocracy is what is undermining the USA and their foreign policy.

Mustafa Badreddine, Salim Ayyash, Hassan Aneissy, Assad Sabra among Accused in Hariri Arrest Warrants

01 July 2011, 14:58

Its funny how mike and sasi condem nabil but remain silent on "Pierre" who wish Israel use nuclear weapons and kill millions of Lebanese. I definitely not condoning what nabil said but thought it interesting nonetheless.

Charbel: Security Apparatuses to Meet Saturday to ‘Coordinate Search’ for Hariri Murder Suspects

01 July 2011, 18:04

Who do you blame except the idiots that leaked the names. Who leaked the names and Why? These are the questions no one asks in lebanon as if it is expected for incompetence and corruption.

Lebanese Navy, UNIFIL Maritime Task Force Conduct Combined Naval Exercise

02 July 2011, 08:22

What were the three Lebanese navy vessels? were they row boats? Shame the ancestors of the great sea fearing phenicians have became unable to even patrol their own sea lanes or maritime economic zone. Will be an interesting next few years when oil and gas extraction is attempted.

Israeli Reports: Maher Assad, Assef Shawkat Suspects in Hariri Assassination

02 July 2011, 11:01

What Yediot Ahronot and der spiegel, no Iranian suspects? Just Lebanese, Syrian and palestinian? Oh, of course... Their hiding in Iran. how can this STL have lost any creditability when it leaks all it's info to these fine news organisations... Next time it should be fox news though!

Hizbullah Rules Out Arrests in 'Void' U.N. Hariri Case

For a more informed article on nasrallah's speech and arguments against the STL read the dailystar article.

Robert Baer is an admitted CIA agent. The leaks to the media. The timing of the indictments. All smells of impartiality or at the very least, incompetence...which is the same thing because incompetence can easily lead to infiltrate and manipulation. I myself would have liked to see him cooperate with the searches of the accused, but when they believe that it's a conspiracy and attack against them, you can't be surprised by their reaction.

Israeli Reports: Maher Assad, Assef Shawkat Suspects in Hariri Assassination

03 July 2011, 07:00

Danny B from Israel? I'm only guessing and don't get it.... When have you ever heard of a murder investigation where the "police" leak the names of the suspects to the media before a warrant is issued and before they attempt to apprehend? If this occurred in Australia or any western nation, I'm sure there would be a public uproar of incompetence and calls that the investigation is tainted. You and most people understand this. Incompetence in an investigation also makes it easier for manipulation. the timings of the leaks and indictments are also suspicious. so yes, shit stinks and the STL reaks of it.

Hariri Thanks Ban for Supporting STL

03 July 2011, 07:31

Rami, why would anyone want to kill him? The more he talks and is around the weaker "his" m14 movement gets. The only one that would want him dead are those who want to give a boost to the weakening m14 as happened in the past. So in this way yes, you can compare him to the martyrd sheik Pierre... But that's the only comparison this saudi kid who had not spent more than a week in Lebanon before 2005 and spent less time in Lebanon as spent in Riyadh as PM of Lebanon!

Bristol Meeting: 'Roadmap to Topple Cabinet of Hizbullah-Syria Alliance'

03 July 2011, 08:56

What a country... The opposition's only goal in life is the tribunal! Is that all lebanon needs to become a utopia? All I ever think or dream about is the STL, and I'm so glad that this is the only thing the opposition is concerned about too. Because when the government actually does waste it's time working on basic modern living improvements, such as Internet, electricity, water, transport, energy exploration and infrastructure, it will be the end of them and certainly ensure their defeat at the next elections. I dream of saadadine hariri's triumphant return from Saudi Arabia for a week before heading back home to Riyadh and holidaying in Paris.

Bristol Meeting: 'Roadmap to Topple Cabinet of Hizbullah-Syria Alliance'

Canaanite, you are either very naive or more likely, an Israeli posing as a "Canaanite". making peace with Israel would be the best way forward I agree. But Israel must first, return the occupied village of ghajjar, shebaa farms and hills. It needs to stop daily violations of Lebanese airspace, random kidnapping of lebanese shepards from Lebanese territory and constant, almost weekly threats to destroy lebanon which every government not just this extra disturbed one, has made since the 70s ( Most recently on 27th June when they threaten to invade lebanon again.) Israel must also compensate for the destruction it sowed in 2006, and allow the palestinian refugees to return or resettled at their content. Israel should stop stealing the water and not begin to steal the gas and oil of our shores. Then, yes, Lebanon and Israel can be at peace and Hezbollah would have no more legitimacy over their weapons. So it's Israel that is the one that helps Hezbollah hold onto it's arms.
