Who's the terrorist? The most racist state in the world. This is the party that leiberman, israels foreign minister belongs to. If a leading palestinian or iranian Muslim cleric spoke and wrote such words, it would be all over US/world media. Israel is the definition of state sponsored terrorism!
Do you remember last time he spoke in parliament? He was reading the cabinet policy as pm... He couldnt read, and berri offered to read it for him. Hope he shows up just for some laughs
I agree with Bashir... For proberbly the first time. He is the youth and sports minister and should keep his comments to that subject and his ministry. That goes for every minister... They should keep their opinions to the subject of their ministery and job. The justice, foreign, interior and prime minister should be the only ministers from now on, that discuss this topic. (oh, forgot the "information" minister)
Bubbaman, your wasting your time. Most of them arent even Lebanese. I read in the Haaretz, that the Mossad were employing bloggers to target "problem" news websites and logg pro Israeli comments. I'm sure naharnet is one such "problem news site". As for israel's maritime border and agreement with cyprus... I thought Cyprus was positioned of the northern Lebanese coast? How exactly does Israel need a maritime border with them?
Sarsi... I wasn't calling u Mossad, just making a point about an article on haaretz. I know from your comments, u are Lebanese living in Sweden, most probably Sunni. I was thinking more of Youseph Haddad, Danny b and numerous others that stand out. Unfortunately, ur disgusting comments regarding my sister and calling me an Iranian dog, is a sad example of what you've degenerated into. Talking about educating people and in the same paragraph accuse me of being an alcoholic, chasing blondes, living of welfare & being a member of "hezeb shitan"? Is this how we build a nation and live together? Good luck with that mate.
Let us see some maps of the lines. It's simple... Under international law a nation can claim 200n miles from shore an exclusive economic zone. If countries are less than 400 miles apart then equal distance to the nearest shore. However minister Bassil is right...how can Israel claim u.n. approval if they are yet to be a signatory?
Powerbroker, don't get ur hopes up. When it comes to oil and gas, the U.S. will sell u out quick smart. The u.s. State department have already accepted lebanon's proposal last august. And a u.s. Company will be employed to extract. Let's see Israel attack that rigg!
It is not about removing Sunnis, but removing incompetent and troubled individuals from their post. Replace them with other sunnis if u must. Ashraf Rifi, must go. He disobeyed direct orders from his boss, the minister of interior and also the president of the republic! wissam al hassan, is very controversial and should even have been a suspect in hariri murder, through info released through wikileaks that stated his absence on the day hariri was killed and his lie about his alabie that he was sick at the doctors.
Which negotiating table do you suggest? Israel does not negotiate with neighbours unless after a major war. It violates lebanon's soveignity on a daily basis through mock air raids and breaking of the sound barrier, and bibi has said they will not stop the violations. Israel steals the water and diverts canals and streams, continues to occupy ghajjar village even in direct contravention of resolution 1701 that ended the 2006 war. I am sure Lebanon will negotiate but only with a willing partner which does not exist in Israel. We are stuck with 400,000 Palestinian refugees and their families that were kicked out of their homes and villages by Israel in 48 and 67. Yes, negotiate, we welcome it, But you don't have the guts to negotiate on all the issues, so shut up!
Sorry big dig, I must disagree. He is exactly what's wrong with Lebanese politics. He is nothing but a feudal sectarian ruler of his fiefdom. He doesn't care about Lebanon but only his sect. He would sell out Lebanon for his sect and would not give a crap if the whole of the south, bekka, metn and north Lebanon burnt to the ground as long as the chouf and alley were untouched. However, I do hope I am wrong.

11 July 2011, 15:13Frangieh? LOL. If this doesn't "create a violent earthquake in Lebanon and Syria", then the third indictment will include Aoun, nassrallah and Assad.
