lebanon_first... True, aoun is not very diplomatic... but i think that the kataeb and fpm are coming closer together, which is a very good thing for lebanon. the only difference is the position on hezbollah and this will eventually be agreed. FT is right that it is the FPM that talks to all sides regardless of political differences and this is something that needs more recognition. The fpm MOD with hezballah was a good thing that mad hezbollah recognize the lebanese republic and for the first time made hezbollah officially reject the islamic lebanese idea!
If it were not for the stupid aggressive and and outright disrespectful USJ protest from hezballah supporters than we could have come together much easier. Don't know why these shameful graffiti was done but it is surly regretful and an apology would be a good step forward.
The Pope does not support the syrian government use of chemical weapons... he supports peace. he supports a peaceful political resolution... no more killing. The syrian government at least accepts to come to the table but these "rebels" refuse!
The result of the p5+1, iran nuclear deal? no. Wonder Israel is spitting chips... No more freedom to steal our gas and oil without international scrutiny. The U.S. wants a resolution so their oil companies can profit through the contracts! Money money money.
Because Saudi Arabia doesn't allow churches or even the Swiss airlines to fly into ksa bcos of. The cross on its tail. It is impossible for a christain figure head to travel to ksa.
As for the batracks visit to Iran.... It's too early for that and some significant lebanese political gestures are needed before that will be possible. The batrack represents all Maronites around the world and christains in the middle east.
It would be a very brave move that would only happen with the Vatican approval.
the1phoenix... true. but what is his view on the attack on Maalula and the capture of 20 lebanese nuns by the al nusra? enough bullshit... he supports Al Qaida fanatics in syria that will then turn lebanon into the same... imagine a syrian regime controlled Geagea's friends... what they would do to lebanon. the past 30 years will look like a walk in the park. I really struggle to understand the limitations of these so called Bashir Gemayel supporters that would support these animals!
