But I thought mustaqbul party have no weapons? People who play with fire, get burnt. This mustaqbul movement, must be purged of those who want civil / sectarian conflict in Lebanon and Syria! Next is call Al Qaida for help.

Bipartisan... Its irrelevent if half the population is against tye government. This is the case in almost all democracies. Whats important is that they work hard and get things done that improve the lives of the citizen.

I agree that we need to work on integrating the resistance with the army and government, but how do you expect that to occur when there are members of the former government that work openly with Israel to target Hezbollah. The defense minister Elias el murr provided the u.s. Embassy with targets and recommendations next time Israel bombs Lebanon! And what has happened to the treachouros leach? He started a newspaper and lives like nothing happened. When we stop using foreign countries to get an advantage on domestic political opponents, then we will have a chance.

Mustaqbul...If you read the article you might find how the "hell" I linked this story to the mustaqbul party. Wasim and Tamir Tamin from tripoli are not likly to be LFers! I reject being labeled an aouni. I am not a blind follower of any politician or party But you obviously have identified yourself as a horse with it's blinkers on. Who is trained to look straight ahead at what he is being trained to see.Don't you dare look around you and see what is really happening. You and your party would rather burn Lebanon with sectarian conflict than to see the hariri family business, mustaqbul party losing power and control of the government.

Shame on those happy to see weapons being sent to Syria. This only leads to more killings and chance of the conflict drifting across into Lebanon.Hypocrites are the ones against Lebanese defending against Israel but cheer syrians "resisting" each other. Already over 400 security forces have been killed in the "peaceful" demonstrations in syria.

I'm not against Syrian people wanting freedom, rights and multiple polictical parties. But this is being offered by Assad and the "Syrian opposition" refuses even diologue. Instead we are seeing the beginnings of sectarian war. That's what they want. They chant, "alawite bil taboot and christains to Beirut". The Muslim brotherhood and salafists in tripoli are purly sectarian that want a conflict, and now there caught sending weapons to Syria and the peaceful m14 followers are cheering, thinking this will not affect Lebanon?

Baroud in Tunisia to Oversee its Parliamentary Elections

07 August 2011, 11:15

Good luck, mr. Baroud. I think that the interior and municipalities ministry should be split. The interior minster needs to be strong man, that knows how to swim with sharks and mr baroud, would do very well in municipalities as an honest, fair and hard working public servant.

Moallek. I think you know that the problems he experienced during his term as interior ministry was with asraf Rifi. Who constantly disobeyed his orders. However my point is that the internal security side and the municipality side are too different and would benefit with different ministers.

Assad to Mansour: State is Obligated to Confront Outlaws who are Terrorizing the People

08 August 2011, 03:26

Bashir... So the 400 odd security forces dead were killed by who? Oh that's right, Hezbollah and Iran.

And the 120 police from jisr el shagour that had their heads chopped of and spiked? That's right, they were killed by their own army for not shooting on civilians.

Oh, they must of been Syrian army dressed in civilian cloths infiltrating the protesters to shoot and kill the police and army so to blame the peaceful demonstrators. (this is actually what the "Syrian opposition" released statement regarding recent Homs clashes)

No bashir, no one believes that there are armed Gangs, after the weapon smugglers were caught in Beirut.... They are more likely best described as terrorists, religious extremists, brotherhood salafis, mixing in with peaceful demonstrators.

Report: Israeli Patrol Violates Blue Line at Kfarshouba

And why did the Lebanese army not fire warning shots? Maybe because they know that the Israelis are probing for an excuse to start a war? Bravo ya watan! As hard as it is to restrain themselves against such naked aggression, they are proving that they are led by a very intelligent commander in general Qahajie. With the domestic pressure that the state of Israel is experiencing with protests, they are looking for a diversion to galvenize the public opinion and distract them from their cause to oust their fanatical government.
