Up to 185 Syrians Dead in New Violence, Monitors to Arrive Thursday

20 December 2011, 19:14

Anyone who who thinks that signing this protocol and allowing the observers to deploy in Syria is a reason for optimism is about to be thoroughly disappointed. The Assad criminal clique knows fully well that allowing any sort of freedom spells their end.

The Assad clan (and their clown followers in Lebanon) will bob, weave, scheme, manipulate, kill, torture, and ultimately fail. They cannot get away with the documented killing of over 5000 citizens, but this will be a long torturous road.

GCC Urges Syria to End Violence, Asks Iran to 'Stop Meddling' in Gulf

20 December 2011, 19:37

The GCC countries are taking a good stand in trying to stop the atrocities of the Assad regime, and in opposing Iran influence in the region. Iran's regime is built on a dogma of victim-hood and martyrdom, and I have no doubt that these fanatics would actually use such weapon. Yes, it would be great to abolish nuclear weapons in the whole region, but a nuclear Iran in particular should be a frightening prospect for the whole region.

Syria Conducts War Games to Test 'Readiness to Repulse Any Attack'

20 December 2011, 23:50

It takes the intellect of a tree stump to conclude that Syria is leaving Lebanon in "the dust." It shows utter stupidity and lack of knowledge of simple facts.

Despite its horrific history of civil war and other societal problems, Lebanon remains ahead of Syria on many fronts. From GDP per capita, literacy, to health care. You name it. Not because the Syrians can't do better. It is because of the totalitarian regime they have been under for the last four decades that prevented them from doing better than a nation mired in civil war. A regime whose sole purpose is to survive at the expense of the freedom and dignity of the citizens.

I am rooting for the Syrian people to free themselves from the Assad cancer, and for Lebanon to free itself from the Iranian occupation.

22 Killed as Ban Urges Syria to Cooperate with Arab Monitors

21 December 2011, 22:39

250 dead during the last 48 hours.
Any doubts this regime lacks the morality and good intentions to implement the Arab League plan?
I fear for the safety of the observers, given the brutality of the regime and its criminal history.
In the end, the only solution will be military intervention of some sort to protect the population, and the Free Syrian Army will be key in tipping the balance against the bastard of Syria.

Nasrallah, Aoun Stress ‘Strong Alliance’ and ‘Full Coordination’

21 December 2011, 22:58

I partially agree with you, Le Big. Yes, Hezbollah is calling all the shots in Lebanon using its "Resistance" Weapon and money flow from Iran. However, Aoun and his clowns are merely taking orders, and fellating the Hezb. There is no alliance. There is only a master-servant/hooker relationship. No?

Hariri on Wage Hike: People will Pay Political Bill

23 December 2011, 03:09

“Aoun discovered lately that he is a pawn in Hizbullah’s hands”

Aoun and his clowns are not just pawns. They are Hezbollah's step stools, shoe shiners, and towel boys. They made a deal with the terrorists so that their quirky narcissistic general can achieve the power he yearns. He couldn't care less about the Christians. He is now being elected by the populous Hezbollah supporters to provide a fig leaf to Hezbollah in the eyes of the Christian community.

Suleiman to Assad: Terrorist Bombings Aimed at Targeting Arab Plan

23 December 2011, 16:02

This is the first in what will be a long series of subterfuge acts designed to lay the blame everywhere and anywhere but the regime itself. The message of the dictator is: I will save you from terrorism. This, as he simultaneously commits the worst massacre in Idleb since the uprising began. Only the regime ass wipes are buying what Assad is selling, including the ambassador in Baabda.

Arab Parliament Head Calls for Withdrawal of Syria Monitors

01 January 2012, 19:55

Take the observers out. Create safe zones (Syria's Benghazi), arm the opposition, and push the bastard out. The brave Syrian people are at the point of no-return. Eliminating Assad will solve many problems.

This monitor group is mired in difficulties. Its joke leader was the intelligence chief of the regime of Sudan - should've never been a choice to lead such a mission in the first place. Countries like Lebanon and Jordan did not want to participate because of their closeness and internal politics. The Syrian regime would not accept observers from the Gulf countries. So the majority of these observers are from Sudan - not a shining example of human rights.

Arab Parliament Head Calls for Withdrawal of Syria Monitors

mfawaz,
I asked Jabal a while ago to bring me an order of medium pepperoni pizza, side of bread sticks and a Diet Pepsi. It's taking him too long and we're getting worried. Do you mind helping him out? I and my Department colleagues are getting hungry!
