An online raffle is offering Picasso lovers a chance to own one of his original works for $135.

The work is titled "Man with Opera Hat." The 12-inch (30.5-centimeter) by 9-inch (23-centimeter) cubist drawing from 1914 is valued at about $1 million.

The army announced on Saturday that it had arrested two Lebanese in connection to the firing of rockets from southern Lebanon towards Israel.

The Army Command said in a statement that Youssef Mohammed al-Fleity and Omar Abdul Mawla al-Atrash confessed to transporting rockets from the Gaza region in the Bekaa to individuals in the southern region of Tyre.

Several rockets and shells were found on Sunday in the Tyre region in south Lebanon, state-run National News Agency reported.

“Three rockets left over from the July War were found in the al-Nsar-Deir Qanoun Ras al-Ain area east of Tyre and Lebanese army experts removed them from the location,” NNA said.

An explosive device was found on Thursday evening in the town of Maarakeh in the southern Tyre District.

"The device was found in Shdaghrouss neighborhood in Maarakeh,” the state-run National News Agency said.

Unknown militants fired four rockets from the southern region of Tyre towards northern Israel on Thursday.

“Four rockets were fired from an area between Hawsh and the al-Rashidiyeh (Palestinian refugee) camp towards the Occupied Territories (northern Israel),” Lebanon's National News Agency reported.

Young man Malek Salman al-Zayyat suffered minor burn injuries on Sunday when a power generator exploded at the roastery he works at on the al-Hmadiyeh public road, north of the city of Tyre, state-run National News Agency reported.

“The sound of the enormous explosion was heard across the region,” NNA said.

A man accused of killing another in a family dispute at Burj al-Shamali Palestinian refugee camp in the southern city of Tyre was handed over to the army on Sunday.

According to the state-run National News Agency, Qassem Jamal Saleh, who opened fire on Saturday night at Imad Zayyan al-Qassem, killing him, was handed over to the army in Tyre barracks.

The Internal Security Forces Intelligence Branch has arrested a Palestinian in southern Lebanon on suspicion of collaborating with Israel, The state-run National News Agency reported Friday.

NNA said Mohammed Kamal Rahil, 29, was arrested by a patrol in the area of Burj al-Shamali in the southern district of Tyre.

A dispute between men from the southern city of Tyre and the town of Bazourieh to its east turned into a gunfight, terrorizing the residents, the state-run National News Agency reported Thursday.

NNA said that the “personal dispute” started between two men at midnight Wednesday but later expanded to include their relatives and friends.

A Lebanese woman died on Wednesday after setting herself on fire at her house near the southern city of Tyre, the state-run National News Agency reported.

NNA said that B.Z., 38, was killed when she self-immolated at her home in the area of al-Marj in Jwayya.
