Sarkozy: Iran Ambitions May Provoke Attack, Assad Actions Irreparable

31 August 2011, 23:40

Another reason they have attacked is they know the majority of the people in Iran is with the regime and a large chunk of the people in Syria is with the regime. They can count on nobody in Iran, and in Syria the most they can do is start a civil war.

Another reason they will not attack Syria, you idiots, is that Syria, unlike Libya, has no oil or other riches to steal. They are not concerned about the Syrian people, and certainly not about the few losers of March 14 in Lebanon. This talk by Sarkozy is just talk. the one who wants to act, does not talk.

small.ape: it seems the only person waiting for the right circumstances is you (and your fellow M14ers) LOL. But let me concede with you that NATO is waiting for the right circumstances, facts demonstrate that day by day these circumstances are getting farther and farther, and the chances for NATO to do anything in Iran are smaller and smaller. Iran is getting stronger economically and militarily by the day, while the West, and that's both the US and the EU are struggling with economic recessions with no light at the end of the tunnel. The cost of the gasoline is $4/gallon and they cannot cope, can they afford $25/gallon if Iran sinks a single oil tanker at the straight of Hormuz? small.ape, you are a typical specimen of why M14 has miserably failed. Instead of trying to work out your differences with your fellow citizens, you count on and wait for outside intervention or help, and in the meantime you fall so much behind that you disappear from the political map.

STL Spokesman Confirms Bellemare has Additional Evidence

01 September 2011, 20:06

If they indeed have any "evidence" that they cannot show, it can't be anything other than reports provided by the CIA and/or the Mossad, which have no credibility to begin with since those countries have a motive.

Charbel Demands Geagea to Halt Escalating Lassa Dispute

02 September 2011, 13:47

@citizen-1: Freedom of speech does not allow you to yell "Fire!" in a crowded movie theater. There are limitations to the freedom of speech, and one of them is national security. Geagea is playing with national security. He is stirring sectarian trouble with an issue that the Patriarch himself has said it was closed. Geagea is on this way to his prison cell if if does not behave.
