Miss Lebanon Emigrants USA Pageant Goes to Pascal Abi-Samra

Texas native Pascal Abi-Samra was crowned on Thursday Miss Lebanon Emigrants USA at a pageant which was held at the Greenfield Manor in Dearborn.

Abi-Samra won the title competing with 14 contestants from all over the country who participated in the pageant to represent Lebanon.

Four contestants came from Dearborn, one from Dearborn Heights, and the remaining came from states that included New Jersey, Georgia, Florida, and Pennsylvania as well as three from Texas.

A number of Lebanese celebrities flew to Dearborn for the occasion, including 1972 Lebanese Miss Universe winner Georgina Rizk as a guest of honor, her husband and singer Walid Toufic and Lebanese singer Ayman Zbib, who entertained the crowd of more than 600 by performing during the pageant.

Lebanese Minister of Tourism, Fadi Aboud, and Lebanese Ambassador to the United States Antoine Chedid, were also at the event.

Pascal Abi-Samra was crowned by Miss Lebanon Emigrants USA 2011 Miss Krystelle Khoury.

Another great achievement by the lebanese. So great that even the amassador to the united states found it suitable to participate. Wow im so proud to be lebanese :S Just another example of how pathetic lebanese are.
