A U.S. Senate report proves that Lithuania hosted a secret CIA jail for terror suspects a decade ago, a lawyer for a Saudi-born Guantanamo detainee claimed Friday.

In a file submitted to the European Court of Human Rights, Helen Duffy said the 2014 American findings leave "no plausible room for doubt" that the Baltic state was involved in the Central Intelligence Agency program.

Missing Lithuanian Plane Found in Baltic without Pilots

Lithuania on Tuesday located a missing private plane at the bottom of the Baltic sea, but its two pilots were nowhere to be found, the Baltic state's defense ministry said. 

"There were no bodies in the aircraft so we're continuing our search," defense ministry spokesman Vaidotas Linkus told AFP.

Lithuania said Sunday it was searching for a small private plane with two pilots on board, that went missing over the Baltic Sea while en route from Sweden.

Despite an international search since Saturday evening, no trace has yet been found of the Polish-made An-2 civilian aircraft, the Baltic state's navy said.

Lithuania Arrests Russian Suspected of Spying

Lithuanian prosecutors said Monday they had detained a Russian citizen suspected of spying, in the latest Cold War-style incident as tensions spiral between the West and Russia.

The suspect is a Russian FSB security service agent who sought to "penetrate governing institutions, law-enforcement and intelligence services," the prosecutor's office said.
