Fans Miss Archery after Ticket Confusion

Dozens of spectators were turned away from the London Olympics archery at Lord's cricket ground on Friday after the first ticketing mix-up of Games, organizers said.

The preliminary men's archery round was being held behind closed doors as is traditional for the sport, but some fans were apparently misled by unofficial websites saying they would be allowed in.

Australia, Lebanon to Meet In Football Friendly

Australia will play Lebanon in a football friendly in Beirut on September 6 in a final build-up to its World Cup qualifier against Jordan five days later.

European Champions League winners Chelsea suffered a shock 3-2 defeat to a Major League Soccer all-star team in an exhibition game, thanks to a late goal from Eddie Johnson.
