شحنة جديدة من الصواريخ والقذائف من واشنطن الى الجيش

زودت واشنطن الجمعة شحنة من الصورايخ والذخائر المدفعية الى الجيش في اطار المساعدات الاميركية.
و تزوِّد هذه الشحنة الجيش بـ 50 صاروخ "هيلفاير" جو - أرض و 560 قذيفة مدفعية، بما فيها ذخائر عالية الدقة. وتمثل ما قيمته 8.6 مليون دولار من المساعدات الأميركية الأمنية إلى لبنان وتعزز قدرة الجيش على تأمين حدود لبنان ضد المتطرفين العنفيين.
و تستخدم صواريخ "هيلفاير" جو-أرض على طائرات "سيسنا كارافان" سبق تسليمها للجيش من قبل الولايات المتحدة، وتسمح هذه الصواريخ للجيش بضرب مواقع مؤكدة للإرهابيين من دون تعريض أنفسهم للنيران.
و تشمل القذائف المدفعية الاخرى قذائف موجهة بالليزر – وهي الذخيرة الأولى من نوعها في ترسانة الجيش اللبناني – التي توفر للجيش اللبناني قدرات هجومية دقيقة في نطاقات المواجهات الهامة.
وأكدت واشنطن ان" شحنة الذخائر التي جرى تسليمها اليوم تثبت التزام أميركا المستمر بضمان الدعم الذي يحتاجه الجيش ليكون المدافع الوحيد عن الأراضي اللبنانية وحدودها، والجيش مسؤول أمام الدولة والشعب اللبناني من خلال الدولة".

thank you USA. Any weapons are much appreciated. Especially Hellfire missiles. Cessna aircraft are a joke though. Any Cobra attack helicopters (1960s tech) would be nice if Israel allows.
