أمير قطر لسليمان وميقاتي في الدوحة: وجود اللبنانيين في قطر مصان

أكد أمير قطر الجديد الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل خليفة الثاني اليوم الأحد أن "وجود اللبنانيين في قطر مصان"، لافتا الى أنهم "يلتزمون قوانين البلاد ويحترمونها".
وقال الامير تميم في لقاء عقده مع رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان ورئيس الحكومة المستقيل نجيب ميقاتي اللذان ذهبا الدوحة للتهنئة الامير "بتسلمه مسؤولياته وبتوليه منصبه كأمير للبلاد":"وجود اللبنانيين مصان"، واللبنانيون في قطر هم بين اهلهم ويلتزمون قوانين دولة قطر ويحترمونها".
ونوه أمير قطر الجديد "بدورهم الانمائي في قطر في مختلف المجالات".
وكانت السلطات القطرية أبعدت بحسب مصادر لـ"فرانس برس" 18 لبنانيا من اراضيها بعد قرار مجلس التعاون الخليجي اتخاذ اجراءات ضد المنتسبين الى حزب الله المقيمين في الدول الخليجية بسبب تدخل الحزب في المعارك في سوريا، إلا أن تقارير صحفية أفادت أن سبب الترحيل ليس سياسيا.
إلا أن وزير الخارجية والمغتربين عدنان منصور قال حينها:"بعد اجراء الاتصالات اللازمة مع بعثة لبنان في قطر، افدنا انه ليس هناك من صرف او طرد للبنانيين العاملين في قطر".
يشار أيضا الى أن معظم الدول الخليجية أصدرت منذ اشهر قرارا بمنع مواطنيها من السفر الى لبنان، حفاظا على امنهم وبسبب التوترات الامنية المتنقلة في لبنان على خلفية النزاع السوري.
ولقد عاد كل من سليمان وميقاتي من الدوحة ونائب رئيس حكومة تصريف الأعمال سمير مقبل بعد ظهر اليوم الاحد من الدوحة، حيث كان اللقاء انعقد في الديوان الاميري ، في حضور الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني.
وتمنى سليمان في اللقاء "متابعة مسيرة الشيخ حمد بالنسبة الى العلاقة الثنائية بين البلدين وتعزيزها وتطويرها".
كذلك تم تناول اللقاء الاوضاع في المنطقة وخصوصا في سوريا وضرورة ايجاد حل سياسي ووقف العنف والقتل والتدمير.

Hopefully the new Emir will bring some sanity to a Qatar foreign policy that has been a disaster ... Just recently Qatari money was being funneled to a Sheikh in Tripoli for destabilization of Lebanon through the auspices of the Red Crescent.
Qatari money has found its way to the worst of the worst Qaeda brands in Libya, Somalia, Syria and other countries during the Arab Spring high-jacking democracy for Salafist dominance. Several countries are still reeling from the violence Qatar money bought.

Qatar also botched their relationship with the Muslim Brotherhood in several countries not the least being Egypt where the situation is completely out of control. Egypt has also exported Brotherhood rhetoric to GCC countries such as the UAE where many have been arrested.
With all that best of wishes to the new Emir that he can establish some sanity within the foreign policy of Qatar ... Hopefully this is a new beginning in the quest for peace in the middle east. Maybe he can talk to the "Friends of Syria" about ending arms supplies and end the slaughter.

Absolutely correct and shameful. So, why in Lebanon? Let these arrogant and extremist Muslims from both sides, whether so called Persian Supreme Leader types, Wahabist, Salafist, Jihadist, crap that comes out of pigs (these people have nothing to do re. religion, they put a front over their sick agendas and get most of you emotionally involved while they kill you and take your lands away), battle it out amongst themselves outside Lebanon. Why involve Lebanon? So, most of the Lebanese leaders, or would be leaders, are either stupid or crooks. Either one qualifies the rest of the Lebanese people, the true victims, to topple and overhaul the entire Lebanese political system. Only when your are united, you can have a say and a stake in your destiny without foreign influence. Why should your friends or enemies respect you, if you are divided?

I would guess because they are only half truths. The other half of the truth is what geha said regarding Iranian money. But most posters on this forum only see the half they want to see and defend the same behavior from someone else because it suites their point of view.

Nice shoes! Mikati and Suleiman should learn from them and go on official visits wearing tarboushes and sherwal. They would be taken more seriously, the way they dress makes them look like insurance salesmen
