A Lebanese man and his two daughters were gunned down in mysterious circumstances in the U.S. state of Texas, media reports said on Thursday.

Rouhad Ezzeddine, who is in his forties, was found shot to death along with his two daughters Zainab and Leila at their house in Texas.

The family hails from the southern town of Kafra.

Al-Jadeed television revealed on Thursday evening that Rouhad Ezzeddine is the brother of M. Ezzeddine, whose phone number was included in the list of numbers that were used in the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri, according to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon.

M. Ezzeddine confirmed that he has owned the phone number that ends with 967 since 2002, according to al-Jadeed.

The number was mentioned in the list of phone numbers presented in the trying session of the four suspects accused of assassinating Hariri at The Hague.

These numbers are owned by Lebanese nationals and were put in service a while before Hariri's assassination.

The incident comes day after Lebanese woman Assil Ali Srour, 20, from the southern town of Batoulieh was killed in mysterious circumstances in the the state of Michigan in the United States.

On Tuesday LBCI television reported that Hussein al-Saghir, 30, from the southern town of al-Khrayeb was also killed in the United States.

He was shot during a robbery at a gas station in the city of Chicago where he works with his brother.

His brother survived the crime.

I cannot understand the link between the American deaths and Peru?

Just because they're Shiite? Yes, the Peru killings are very suspicious. America on the other hand, the girl? Really now?

Missing people-power 23 January 2014, 22:05

Do you mean 2012 instead of 2002?

Thumb geha 23 January 2014, 22:22

looks like someone is cleaning up his house promptly?

Ezzedine blew a hole in the defense argument that the Israelis had manipulated the phone records.

This news is nonsense honestly. The man was killed in Texas and has no link to Peru whatsoever lol and the girl isnt twenty shes 19 and committed suicide by shooting herself. And the other guy got mugged and shot while closing his store and it was a smoke shop not a gas station. 3anjad the Lebanese are artists when it comes to making things up and twisting stories around. Who wrote this article?? I live in Michigan and I heard all three of these stories. I personally know the girls family, I know the cousins of the guy who got shot in Chicago, and the other guy it was on Good Morning America. Unless Good Morning America started broadcasting Peru news I doubt this is true.

Something linked to STL, who is the suspect?either HA or STL.

Mossad has no benefit risking more exposure for "phone number holders"
This is someone tying up loose ends, OR someone taking revenge

Thumb general_puppet 24 January 2014, 09:23

Assad and his Axis partners have been getting rid of all loose ends.

This article is incorrect. This happened in Texas and not in Peru. Please correct. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/01/24/us/soldiers-family-found-dead-in-apparent-murder-suicide.html?_r=0

Funny how the story changes from Peru to Ft. Hood. Covering up something?
