Geagea: Cloud of Uncertainty on al-Rahi’s Statements Has Passed

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea on Wednesday expressed relief at Maronite Patriarch Beshara al-Rahi’s confirmation that his statements on Syria and Hizbullah’s arms were taken out of context.

In remarks to Free Lebanon radio, Geagea said that he faced “uncertainty” when he heard al-Rahi’s remarks during his visit to Paris. “I know well the church’s stance and al-Rahi’s stand from humanitarian principles, core values, human rights, humanitarian dignity, the freedom of people, democracy and the right of self-determination.”

Geagea also said that the church believes a society cannot rise if it doesn’t have control on the defense strategy and the weapons.

The controversy that erupted over al-Rahi’s statements is “a cloud of uncertainty that has passed,” he said. The patriarch is “the guardian of Bkirki’s heritage and this is comforting.”

Asked about the situation in Syria, Geagea said that the rejection of the Syrian regime of the Arab League initiative proves that Damascus doesn’t want to introduce reform.

He expressed regret at the Lebanese state’s official stance, wondering whether Lebanon supports the violent crackdown in Syria.

Geagea advised President Michel Suleiman and Premier Najib Miqati to review the foreign ministry’s policy because Lebanon shouldn’t appear as a state that supports violence against the Syrian people.

Ahhhhhh….Brainless… do yourself a favor… change that name… your comments are always full of air, of non sense, light, and boring. So the least that you could do is not to try and induce the idea that you are clever by calling yourself… “Mr Brain” and putting this funny little illustration of yours! It’s working against you! And you don’t need that extra burden.
Now, you can call Geagea a murderer, yes, he killed…and so did Berri, Nasrallah, Aoun, Frangieh, Joumblat, etc, etc… It was times of war. Get over it. This era is passed, and as you might know Geagea was the only one to pay the price.
If you want to talk about Murders though, let’s do so! So… who killed Hariri?? Hawi?? Who attempted on Hamade’s life? And Murr’s? And who killed Samir Kassir? And Gebran Tueini? Pierre Gemayel? And many more??
Not interested? How come a person …no…a “Brain” like you condemns Geagea as a murderer but refuses to trial suspects of murders during a peaceful era…

MrBrain -I suppose your handle "mrbrain" is meant to compliment your mental prowess? I'm sorry kid, but I don't see it.
In any event, your posts are the stupidest I read on this forum and do not reflect your advertised goods. At least if you want to insult someone, try some variations and don't be so boring. Maybe then, we can say he is stupid, but entertaining.

Thumb thepatriot 14 September 2011, 15:29

Conclusion: Your comment is selective, light, weak and silly (trying to use light terms to avoid the usual censorship). You accuse one person of crimes during a war on one hand, but want to protect potential murderers because their victims are your political rivals on another hand.
You might have a big brain, but it only seems to be full of air dude…

Dr Geagea,Bkirki, and Rafik Hariri are the only reason the Lebanese people have freedom of speech today.A large number of Lebanese paid a heavy price for these privileges we take for granted. The Syrian opposition have decided to sacrifice there lives for freedom of speech and the ability to live in dignity and no one in the world can take that from them, even our patriarch.Dr geagea you are a patriotic leader who leads by example, you are a shining light on the hill, you are the only one that keeps the dream alive for many and you have succeeded against all the odds. Lebanon needs more people with your qualities,I salute you Dr Geagea.

HILARIOUS! Geagea talking about dignity, freedom of people bla bla bla HAHAHAHAHA
He is now confortable because obviously what Rahi said was not clear hehehe! Unbelievable this stupid moron!
What rahi said was clear and strong, plus it was right! Saying now he feels better because the uncertainty has passed?
Can you guys believe this jerk????
ROTF :D

@thepatriot : bravo man you admit geagea was a murderer, cool. Before accusing the others, bring some facts on the table, not stupid politicized arguments that not even yourself believe in!
You want to get rid of the hezb! Guess what? Honestly me too! But let's bring some real facts.. Let's admit that this special tribunal is supported because it helps us all get rid of a milicia noone wants. Then we can talk business :)
But first thing to do? Be honest to ourselves. YES the tribunal is politicized... Let's use this opportunity to get rid of some milicias? OK why not... To be debated!

@Geagea's fans : please guys read Pieton's statement. Even France admits there was no uncertainty whatsoever. What is this stupid Dr talking about? Someone please explain...

Thumb thepatriot 14 September 2011, 18:12

@reformist
1- I don't have to bring "facts on the table" , I am no juge or prosecutor. Juges, and prosecutors will bring facts on the table, and the indicted will bring counter facts should they have any. This is how it works in "non retarded countries"!
2- You misread my post :" but refuses to trial suspects of murders" I said "suspects"...please read correctly.
3- " you admit that Geagea was a murderer" yes! He WAS! And so were the others mentioned in my post. So??

Not one of the rabid dogs spared taking a bite at the Patriarch. And now the low-life Geagea says it was a passing cloud. It reminds me of the passing cloud that time when Geagea's friends from Hariri's Al Qaeda - Akkar and Tripoli Brigades invaded Achrafieh, burned cars, destroyed homes and businesses and stoned the churches, only to see the handsome Geagea call them; HOL MENNENA! PEOPLE!!!

Thumb thepatriot 14 September 2011, 18:37

@slash

These personal attacks on Geagea are rather pathetic. As we've seen time and time again you guys contribute nothing substance but rather personal attacks a vile insults. Your comments show your true colors and intelligence. Geagea has proven to be the most calm, direct, and level-headed politician in the past few years.

Thumb mrbrain 14 September 2011, 22:01

Startrip and the Patriot do you really think i care about you say about me?
Whatever you say won't make Dr Greenthumb a better person ...
Once you get rid of the sectarian virus that have infected your brain then and only then we can talk..Yet i doubt this is going to happen..
II consider glorifying Dr Greenthumb is like worshiping an idol. Let us pretend All the Lebanese becomes Lebanese forces supporter ...In other word he is the ultimate ruler without having a single opponent ..Do you think people will love him or get rid of him ? I hope it takes you a second to answer if not ..........Pfffffffffffffff
And for the record i never insulted anyone including your idol Dr Greenthumb .....
