Hizbullah's Unprecedented Openness to Clear Party's Image

Hizbullah politburo member Hajj Mahmoud Qmati stressed on Thursday that the party recently adopted an openness strategy towards its rivals to rectify Hizbullah's image and clarify its policies.
“The party's policy is to open up to everyone as it is certain that its national program fits all parties,” Qmati said in comments published in al-Joumhouria newspaper.
He stressed that Hizbullah is seeking to clarify its stances and end the distortion and misleading information surrounding it.
Qmati accused some media outlets, without naming them, of exerting efforts to tarnish the party's image.
Hizbullah kickstarted in December dialogue with al-Mustaqbal Movement under the auspices of Speaker Nabih Berri in Ain el-Tineh.
The talks mainly aim at defusing the tension between Shiites and Sunnis.

Even though Hezbollah remains powerful, for sure, but it certainly is no longer what it was some time ago. Mystic, we all gain experiences according to our real time environments, but the question remains, at what cost? When the collateral gets too high, then more questions get fielded, one of them now is, "how long can you sustain it all". No matter what Hezbollah may try, it remains a militia and like all militias it has a shelf-life, just pray that the current trading between Iran and it's arch-friend the US don't shorten that prematurely.

Texas, this doesn't answer my question. Yes the battle stopped after the Israeli bombardments, that is evident now. That has nothing to do with future escalations, Israel never listens to UN or UNFIL. They even killed that Spanish peacekeeper and refuses to take responsibility.
The Resistance also said, that they wouldn't respect the U.N Resolution 1701 any longer. Israel knows this, they were the most shocked by the attack, they thought like our friend Phoenix above, that the Resistance was weakened and not motivated to attack the IDF.

There is no trading between the West and Israel phoenix, there are negotations about Irans peaceful nuclear program. It is the U.S pushing for these talks, not the Iranians. U.S recognizes Irans growing influence in the region, they managed to create a greater Anti-ISIS force than the U.S coaltion.

texas, it's funny you mention the LAF should fight the Israelis alone. The LAF being low enough equipped to fight takfiris let alone Israel.
You wish the LAF to be broken by Israel, so that the remaining State called Lebanon collapses immediately. That is the big plan of the U.S.A, if the LAF fought the Israelis. Do you think the U.S would supply the Army? No that would be Iran that supplied them then, not your beloved West.
We might even see the great Commander Qassem Solaimani come to Lebanon, and train the Lebanese Armed Forces.
