At least two people were wounded on Thursday in a landslide triggered by heavy rain in the northern Bsharri district, the state-run National News Agency reported.

NNA said the landslide in the town of Hasroun was caused by the collapse of a pond in the hilly town.

The water invaded houses, swept cars into a valley and blocked the Bsharri-Hasroun main road, it said.

According to NNA, among those injured was Charbel Touma, who suffered a broken shoulder and was taken the the Bsharri state hospital.

The agency identified a second person wounded in the landslide as Loulou Bou Nassif.

Red Cross rescuers, meanwhile, went into the valley to check if there were victims in the swept vehicles.

Hasroun municipality also deployed its police and staff to take part in the rescue operations.

Following the disaster, Bsharri MP Sethrida Geagea contacted Prime Minister Tammam Salam to follow up the case.

Salam immediately tasked an advisor at the Higher Relief Council, Engineer Ali al-Hajj, to head to Hasroun and take the necessary measures.

Backward Bchari still having landslides after a pond falls over.

where is Samir & Strida ? oh yeh living in a castle in Maraab whist Strida places the highest emphasis on more plastic surgery.

But the backward people of Bachri will die for them.

You know ya Roar, when this article was posted, I had the feeling that you'd wake up from your Aussie beer slumber and slog in another silly post. You're so full of it, really. Bchari is not inhabited by the Geageas alone if you failed to noticed, just like Haret Hreik is not inhabited by Aouns alone. Well, for your info, in Rabieh the sewage system is blocked near where your caporal lives, care to comment?

Thumb _mowaten_ 12 March 2015, 16:36

You know what Bsharri's main road is named?

Thumb the_roar 12 March 2015, 16:43

How irrelevant is old man Phoenix becoming? seriously old man get a grip.

Tell us who is elected in Bchari ...is it anyone but Samir-Sthrida?

have a lay down old man..

Thumb the_roar 12 March 2015, 17:02

How or why is none of your business old man.

Why do you want us to focus on anything but Bchari when the article is clearly about Bchari.

lol who's the deluded one here.

btw old man..how did your voting go?
I noticed you received 0 votes...old & deluded..shame we all have to get to your age one day I guess.

Thumb _mowaten_ 12 March 2015, 17:59

Kiss their what? You're becoming more distasteful and less relevant than you used to be Phoenix... I guess Roar is right, you're getting old, and I'd even say old and sour.

Thumb -phoenix1 12 March 2015, 19:25

Hey Mowaten, I repeat, they are kissing your butts, so what? All of a sudden the M8 league bumps in? Your trying to imitate your friend Roar, yet your slave the caporal Aoun who is now almost 80, yet his age doesn't bother you no, even if he is almost 28+years older than me? Mowaten, I still respect you even if we disagree, try to keep it tidy with me, don't lower yourself to the levels of your Roar, plus the Trolls he has just brought back. If we have our differences that doesn't mean we can insult each other.

Thumb -phoenix1 12 March 2015, 19:30

And you ya Mowaten, how old is your Sayed Hassan? care to tell us? Is his age any impairment to his leadership at Hezbollah or has he not become wiser with time? Please, try to elevate yourself above that Roar, either you discuss with me like you did before, or I'll look upon you as just another person who is not worth my respect. We can be from different sides, yet still have mutual respect. You figure it mister and see how Mystic and I chat with each other, stay out of my debate with your fake Aussie.

Thumb the_roar 12 March 2015, 15:24

How is that related to this article about Bchari still having landslides due to a pond that fell over?

lol getting rather desperate indeed, pajama

Thumb _mowaten_ 12 March 2015, 16:33

Indeed unrelated and irrelevant. Pas un propagandiste tu es sur?

Thumb the_roar 12 March 2015, 16:49

Thanks Mowaten, my French scholar mate.

Thumb -phoenix1 12 March 2015, 17:09

Roar, call me what you want, now you will get me all over your back and I am sorry for you. First about that lie, you don't live in Australia but here inside Lebanon. Two, you're full of hatred and intolerance, hence you decided to derail this topic when it had nothing whatsoever to do with Geagea or his wife. here it rained all night as you do know, so the post was about a landslide and not Geagea , but in your usual style being the classic lair and FPM intolerant propagandist, just like your old caporal Aoun, nothing should stand on your ways to expose your lies, nothing. Now feel the insults and ridicule people here are throwing at you and at least for your sake get yourself a life. People now know you, just another Beiruti resident. The rope of lies is never too long you see?

Thumb the_roar 12 March 2015, 17:16

Old man..if I lived in Beirut, I would be proud to say so.

secondly why are you crying that I am calling out the Bchari leaders who failed its town....A pond falling over has caused houses to be under water...lol @ old men & their emotional tears
stick to the topic if its possible old man.

Article headline is in bold letters above...reading glasses old man?

Thumb -phoenix1 12 March 2015, 17:17

PB, fais le deux mirroirs, je paye les frais.

Thumb -phoenix1 12 March 2015, 17:26

Mballa ya Roar, you are lying thus that makes you a liar, for once be honest, you do NOT live in Aussie but in Beirut. If you lived in Aussie, many thins would show for it like staying up so late, one proof of many, the rest? Think! Then again, put it into that thick skull of yours, that this thread was and remains about a landslide, so why change the topic? Why attack posters, ranting over them, look ya habibi, you've attacked everyone except Mowaten, chi tabi3eh NO? Anyway, call me or anyone whatever you wish, the only effect it will have is to sink you down further, and with that luggage of lies you're bundled with, you'll go down faster. Now try, try my girl, start with some honesty, leave that culture of lies my dear greater-Beiruti resident.

Thumb the_roar 12 March 2015, 17:31

Old man Phoenix ..your trying too hard now.

Where I live & what I do is seriously not your business.

Your so grumpy old man..now I'm just hoping you don't croak soon''
worried about you old timer.

Thumb -phoenix1 12 March 2015, 17:38

Ah Roar, where you live is my business now. For a long time I let it go but now you have to be exposed. I also have to expose the fact that your aim is to get this forum derailed as best as you can. My question is this: Why is it that in the Orange Room, you post so differently, yet here you try so hard to get people out of the threads' focus? Then, why here do you keep telling us that you live in Australia, come on my girl, did you think we'd buy that lame story forever? You see, Naharnet is not for a brainwashed audience, it thrives on diversity unlike your Orange Room where a mono culture is of rigor. Now, until you decide to become more honest here, I am afraid I will ride on your back.

Thumb the_roar 12 March 2015, 17:42

I am as aussie as they come dear old senile man.

get used to it or ask your retirement village if they have some stronger tea for you.

You see old man..I care less where you come from or where your going.
why?
you're irrelevant...like old blue moldy cheese left in the sun.
ewwwwwww

Thumb -phoenix1 12 March 2015, 17:54

Roar an Aussie, interesting. Roar, that's a lie, in Australia, it's well past bedtime now, people with real lives and with jobs have long gone to bed. Lie exposed ya Roar, you're not an Aussie but a real Orange Leb. Then, in the Orange Room, their forum, you and your friends have agreed to flood this forum with gibberish, it is done intentionally, so, why in the Orange Room your behavior is so different from your behavior in Naharnet's forum? care to explain? Lie number 3. You are having the world's difficulty at containing your anger, thus your nature to insult, again, in total contradiction to your niceness in the Orange Room. When you can stop lying to us here, when you will be a lot more honest, is when I will leave you in peace, until then.

Thumb _mowaten_ 12 March 2015, 18:01

Cheers Roar!

Thumb _mowaten_ 12 March 2015, 16:34

Congrats, that was your first post in years not blaming "houthis" for one thing or another. Must have been really hard, haven't it?

Thumb -phoenix1 12 March 2015, 19:20

You see ya Roar, you and your FPM and those who are backing you up, your culture is all about lying, fabricating, mocking, derogating, and finally being real clowns, just like your jeddo clAoun. When tackled, you resort to name-calling, to twisting our words, to all nonsensical verbal attacks, but where will that take you? To Baabda? Back to Speedy Gonzales. You called me old man and God knows what, yet your old man Aoun is about 28 years older than me, yet his age seems no impairment to you for his presidency, how foolish you are indeed, wallah. But what your master says is what you will spew, lies, lies and lies. For a man claiming to be an Aussie, you just made of yourself another monumental claoun, but would Aoun be able to make a following any better than claouns? Well, here is your prime specimen ya Naharnet, Roar, the man from down under.
