Airport Customs Arrest Suspect for Smuggling Drugs in Condoms

Customs at Rafik Hariri International Airport arrested on Saturday a Peruvian national on drug smuggling charges, reported the National News Agency.
It said that the suspect had concealed around a kilogram of cocaine in condoms that he had swallowed.
The traveler had arrived in Lebanon from Brazil via Abu Dhabi.
He has since been referred to the concerned authorities for investigation.

The Anti Drug Enforcement Unit of the ISF released a statement confirming the identity of the drug smuggler as a Shia Lebanese holding a Peruvian passport. The smuggler, Mousa Abbas Shamas, hails from the eastern city of Baalbek. Without further delay Mr. Moussa confessed he was a member of the Shia terror group known as Hezbollah. He was ordered by the party's leader to smuggle drugs in order to finance the group terror activities. He was quickly referred to the concerned judicial authorities for further action.
Hezbollah is a known terrorist organizations with links to organized crime, money laundering, political assassinations, and drug trafficking.
