Raad Calls on State to 'Perform Its Duties in Defense Strategy'

The head of Hizbullah's Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc MP Mohammed Raad called on the Lebanese state on Tuesday to “perform its duties in the defense strategy.”
“As for the defense strategy, we are ready for it,” Raad said, referring to President Michel Aoun's call for defense strategy talks after the elections.
“We hope the state will perform its duties in the defense strategy, seeing as we are offering the lives of our young men to protect the country. This is our religious and national duty and no one can prevent us from defending our country through all means should we face danger,” the lawmaker said.
“This is a right for every citizen in Lebanon,” Raad emphasized.
The issue of Hizbullah's huge arsenal of weapons has long been a thorny issue in Lebanon.
Since 2006 several national dialogue meetings have failed to make progress on the topic.

How about you performing your job and hand over your sectarian weapons to the state.

Our government is in deep coma surrendering to Hizbollah (Iran's occupation army in Lebanon). As in 2006 HizbIran started a war with Israel to justify its arms when a consensus was building up against its militia. Hizb will today sacrifice Lebanon again to remain a useful chip for Iran’s Junta in its regional ambitions. Can President Aoun guaranty that Lebanon’s power plants, dams, and industrial zones will not be hit by Israel after Hizb fires rockets? Already our economy has suffered by Hizb speeches and actions. Beirut historic role as the favorite location for multinational regional headquarter has evaporated due to Hizb hatred of the west and instability caused by its foreign-made actions that never benefited Lebanon. President Aoun is playing with fire and will likely be the worst president ever if Lebanon remains subservient to Iran Junta and Assad via Hizb militia. Hizb must disarmed so Lebanon and the Shia community can again be free, democratic and prosperous.

"seeing as we are offering the lives of our young men to protect the country"
and who asked you to protect the country ya irani? and if “This is a right for every citizen in Lebanon,” then why resistance is exclusive to iranian shias?
Anyone who wants to protect the country can join the army and not form his own foreign owned militia and claims he is protecting Lebanon.

so the army is "hostage to foreign countries" but your iranian owned and operated terror militia is not!:))!!!

come on! tell your American ally to sell the army F16 and F18 to counter the Israeli daily aggression!... otherwise you must enlist and join the resistance if you care about Lebanon.

your ally America is responsible for many terror attacks on Lebanon that killed hundreds of innocent people, example Bir al abd American terror attack... the army needs no veto so the Russian can supply tanks and fighters jet, till then keep playing with your favorite toy... right! brown little thing

well said patriotic southern. I always learn from you and i keep growing. Thank you for being an inspiration to us the young generation.

Also parakeet I'm sure you'd agree that the combined Americans and Israelis crimes in Lebanon cannot even hold a candle to the crimes committed by the saintly Syrian regime on Lebanese or every region, political and religious persuasion. Furthermore the Syrian regime after 1990 was supposed to be in charge of rebuilding the Lebanese Army. That was not done short of a few unlucky officers who were sent on training course in Syria of all places. The regime, whoever, proceeded to infest our security and armed forces with elements who are loyal to it and it's security apparatus.

Perform you civilian duty and disarm the filthy murdering militia

The state should perform its duties and arrest terrorists of your kind and execute them.

Raad Calls on State to 'Perform Its Duties in Defense Strategy'
Is that before or after you start a war. It would be very handy if you tell us all before. Look bub you stop following Iranian order to start wars then the state will take care of the rest. The state could not perform it's duty in the 1970s because of Fathahland that you've since replaced with Ayatollahland. His duty is what Samer Hanna was doing when you murdered him, but you couldn't let him. You even pushed our current president the former army chief to ask "what was the Lebanese Army Helicopter doing there".. after all that's not Lebanese territory, that's Ayatollahland.

and does the iranian terrorist have any duties himself apart from being a slave to his masters in Iran?

A war criminal, a terrorist, a drug dealer is asking the State to shoulder its responsibilities; the irony!
