"The View Network" the 40th team to qualify for this year's MIT semi-finalist round

Sudanese “The View Network” has been selected as one of the semi-finalist teams for this year’s MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Start-Up Competition for the Ideas Track.

A group of two university friends, Mohamed Elfatih Eraiby, Abdelrahman Elmagboul ended up establishing a business partnership. The View Network, in answer to the same passion they shared for media and art. They aim to support artists in their community through a win-win business model that offers those needed facilities and mentoring.

Inspiration

During their professional experiences in business administration, The View Network team members were amazingly surprised by great artistic talents that surround them. Nevertheless, they realized that they are in dire need of orientation that improves their capacity and makes artistic productions shine.

Problem & Solution

The View Network considers that artistic works in their community lack of fair chances of exposure that highlights deployed talents and efforts. Artists need a system of mentorship and sponsorship that facilitates and expands their achievements. This is where The View Network platform started to get concretized.

The View Network is providing artistic businesses a unique platform for advertising through social media by sponsoring original artistic content and integrating ads to them.

On the other hand, The View Network is willing to orient their productions to serve great causes, so artists become positive role models in their societies. The team is keen on embracing high ethical values & positive attitude & promoting them to the artists’ fans. The View Network is hence aspiring to become a socially responsible firm, supportive for valuable causes such as non-violence, anti-drugs & smoking and raising awareness about STDs.

The View Network team considers MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup competition as a great opportunity to share their passion with the world, as well as getting introduced to such a prestigious institution.
