الأمطار تقطع طريق المطار بالإتجاهين وتحبس آلاف المواطنين على الطرقات

أدت الأمطار الغزيرة الأربعاء إلى انقطاع طريق المطار باتجاه بيروت كلياً بسبب مياه اﻷمطار وعلق آلاف المواطنين في سياراتهم.
وبثت قناة الـ"LBCI" عصر الأربعاء صورا من داخل النفق الذي يؤدي إلى الطريق لسيارات تغمر قرابة نصف السيارات ويحاولون مواطنون الخروج من النفق على أرجلهم.
وبحسب القناة بلغ ارتفاع منسوب المياه داخل النفق الثاني على طريق المطار نحو متر ونصف ما أدى إلى انقطاع الطريق بالاتجاهين ، وعاد المواطنون الذين قدموا من ناحية خلدة ادراجهم بعدما كسروا الحاجز .
وقد انقطع التيار الكهربائي في نفق المطار وتجري محاوﻻت بدائية وفي الظلام لفتح المجاري فيما توجه الدفاع المدني لسحب المياه من داخل النفق ومساعدة المواطنين.
وقال المدير العام للدفاع المدني العميد جورج خطار أن "الوزارات المعنية يجب ان تقوم بعملها ويجب عدم طلب المستحيل من الدفاع المدني".
كما شدد خطار على أن "مسؤولية ما حصل اليوم تقع على الوزارات المعنية والبلديات لأنها لم تعمل على فتح المجاري قبل موسم الشتاء".
وأكد وجود عناصر من الدفاع المدني على الأرض "ولكن بسبب إقفال طريق المطار لا يمكن وصول سياراتنا إلى النفق".
وتحدث بعض المواطنين قائلين أنهم قاموا بالسباحة للخروج من النفق.
وأعلنت القناة أن وزير الأشغال العامة في حكومة تصريف الأعما غازي العريضي لم يرد على هاتفه رغم محاولات الإتصال فيه.
من جهته أصدر المدير العام لقوى الأمن الداخلي بالوكالة العميد ابراهيم بصبوص، أمرا الى كل قطعات قوى الأمن الداخلي من مخافر وفصائل ودوريات طوارىء، إضافة الى مفارز السير، قضى بوجوب التواجد الفوري لأكبر عدد من الضباط والعناصر على الطرق، ومساعدة المواطنين، وتسهيل حركة المرور، والمساهمة في ازالة العوائق.
من جهة أخرى شهد الاوتوستراد الساحلي من الصيفي مرورا بالكرنتينا فالدورة، نهر الموت، الزلقا، جل الديب، الضبية زحمة سير خانقة بسبب غزاررة السيول التي هطلت في فترة بعد الظهر.
وتحولت بعض الشوارع والطرق الى بحيرات عائمة اغرقت سيارات المواطنين وهم بداخلها، وتوالت المناشدات للتحرك لانقاذهم من داخل سياراتهم التي غمرتها المياه.
يذكر أن مأساة المواطنين تتكرر سنويا عند أول هطول للأمطار في جميع المناطق إلا أن طريق المطار تشهد للمرة الأولى هذه الأزمة.

It's probably all the roadblocks holding the water back rather than terrorists. Also all the trash they through that keeps clugging the sewers...
If you simply teach lebanese (all sects included) that their country is not an open trash, you would end up with much less similar problems. Hezbollah or Mustaqbal, idiots will still through their kleenex and garbage out their car windows when driving...
Tripoli, Dahyé, Saida and many parts of Beirut look like any open air trash yard ...

The above commentators are both idiots blaming the wrong people for the problems caused now and still each year to be caused by the bad construction of the Motorways and the Tunnels.
