الجيش يوضح ملابسات حادثتي صيدا ويكشف هوية 3 معتدين

أصدرت قيادة الجيش اللبناني مديرية التوجيه، ظهر الاثنين، بياناً توضيحياً كشفت فيه تفاصيل الاعتداءين على حاجزين للجيش عند جسر الأولي وفي محلة مجدليون في مدينة صيدا، ومعلنة هوية ثلاثة من منفذي الاعتدائين.
ووفق البيان فإنه قرابة التاسعة من مساء الاحد، مرّ ثلاثة أشخاص أمام حاجز الجيش في الأولي سيراً على الأقدام، ولدى اشتباه الخفير بهم، طلب منهم إبراز أوراقهم الثبوتية.
هنا، أقدم أحدهم وهو يزال مجهول الهوية، على الاندفع باتجاه الخفير شاهراً قنبلة يدوية، فبادره الأخير على الفور بإطلاق النار، ما أدى إلى انفجار القنبلة ومقتل الشخص على الفور، وجرح عسكريين اثنين من عناصر الحاجز.
ولدى القيام بنفتيش الشخص الذي قتل، عثر في جيبه على قنبلة أخرى، جرى تعطيلها لاحقاً من قبل الخبير العسكري المختص، في حين تمكّن الشخصان الآخران من الفرار إلى جهة مجهولة، ويجري التأكد من احتمال علاقتهما باعتداء مجدليون لاحقاً.
اما عند الساعة العاشرة الا ربع من مساء الاحد، وإثر إقامة حاجز ظرفي تابع للجيش عند تقاطع مجدليون – بقسطا من جراء الاعتداء الأول، أوقفت سيارة جيب نوع envoy رمادية اللون بداخلها ثلاثة أشخاص، ولدى محاولة تفتيشها اقدم أحدهم وهو الفلسطيني بهاء الدين محمد السيد على الترجل من السيارة.
واقترب السيد من أحد عناصر الحاجز وهو الرقيب سامر رزق، حيث احتضنه وفجر نفسه بواسطة قنبلة يدوية، ما أدى إلى مقتله واستشهاد الرقيب، بالإضافة إلى جرح أحد العسكريين، فيما قتل الشخصان الآخران من جراء إطلاق النار من قبل عناصر الحاجز، وهما اللبنانيان محمد جميل الظريف وابراهيم ابراهيم المير.
وتبيّن بعد تفتيش السيارة أنها تحتوي على حزام ناسف معد للتفجير مؤلف من 6 قطع متفجرات، محاطة بمجموعة من الكرات الحديدية، وموصولة بفتيل صاعق وصاعق رمانة يدوية، اضافة الى ثلاث رمانات يدوية دفاعية و17 صاعقاً كهربائياً، و6 صواعق رمانات يدوية، ومفجرة صاعق كهربائي.
وقضائياً، كلف مفوض الحكومة لدي المحكمة العسكرية القاضي صقر صقر، الاثنين، الشرطة العسكرية ومخابرات الجيش والادلة الجنائية اجراء التحقيقات الاولية في حادثتي صيدا وبإشرافه.

In the absence of any real measures against those who perpetrate attacks against the LAF, the nation will remain in a speculative state, where the people could not trust the army entirely and where the perpetrators would remain emboldened to repeat such cowardly attacks. We have repeated this for so many times, let the army take firm actions when the culprits are caught, and after all reasonable avenues have been used in the dispensation of justice, let the maximum penalties be applied, irrespective of who the culprits are. When the army sets a couple of very firm examples, then would the nation begin to feel secure.
