Hezbollah accused israel to be behind dahieh bombs, it turned out that the authors were people from alqaida that passed through Arsal.
Now hariri is accusing Hezbollah to be the author of that bombing in Dt Beirut, it might turn out that another organization might be behind it.
So instead of waiting the results of the inquiries and knowing for sure whose behind this assassination and really shut their mouth, these kind of speaches accusing others is counter productive and an insult for each of the victims.

May the souls of the victims to be in peace and that all lebanese would stop listening to craps and be united.

I am not at HA supporter, but I can see that this act does not strengthen HA - to the contrary, it further weakens their position in Lebanon and makes them more vulnerable nationally and internationally. I do not think they would be this naive. It is the easy answer to accuse them- but maybe not the right answer. It is dreadfully criminal and unfortunate that Mr. Shatah (and the other innocent victims) was the fall guy. I don't think he was the real target as an individual. I believe he was chosen as his assassination was sure/is sure to have serious political and security repercussions. I think the act is part of the primitive sign language that large international players use to communicate to each other when diplomacy has failed. One side is telling the other-final warning- we are ready to destabilize Lebanon unless you fall into line.....

The line from the assassination to Hezbollah is much straighter. As to assigning responsibility to the party that benefits the most, why overlook the benefit to Hezbollah from this assassination? Subdue a whole nation with 60 kilos of explosives and 5 deaths. It is cheap. It silences those who oppose you. And who will come to the aide of the victim? The US? France? Who? No one. Hezbollah is built up militarily so that the cost of confrontation is higher than any outside player is willing to pay.

The question is whether or not the Lebanese can or will rise up themselves to throw this oppressor off of their backs. Again, Hezbollah is betting that the Lebanese will simply pack their bags and move away, leaving the country more to themselves and their clients among the Lebanese population. The Lebanese surrender to Hezbollah will not take place in Parliament, but at the Airport.
