Goddamnit, Saudi got what they wanted. I hoped he would be alive to tell the Lebanese Authorities everything. Ofcourse Saudi got to him first.

how do you know that our officers did not exctract some info/data out of him before he "died"?

Thumb Mystic 15:47 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

If they did, he would still be alive for testimony.

Thumb -phoenix1 12:13 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

This is it, a convenient way to solve a nagging problem. So the Iranians will not get to question him and his body will be flown for burial back home. OK, let's assume the story is true, can the leaders of the different political parties be allowed to see for themselves and ascertain the matter?

Thumb ex-fpm 12:16 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

If you do any cursory research on the net, you will find out this person had been suffering from kidney problems for years. In,fact, he was severely injured in Afghanistan. I don't see anything sinister behind his death.

Thumb popeye 16:03 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

Thumb -phoenix1 16:25 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

I did my research perfectly well Ex-FPM and I know of the ailments this man suffered from and what caused them, but does it not occur to you that renal machines are readily available to treat such people? Then yes, it's sinister one way or the other, his death in such a timing does raise question, but well, we are in Lebanon, the land of a thousand and one problems multiplied by a thousand and one question, till now, no answers. Anyway....

Thumb lebnanfirst 18:52 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

@-phoenix1
In retrospect, sinister be this man's death or not it is the best possible outcome. Can you imagine the stress Lebanon would have suffered as a result of Iran and Saudi Arabia competing to see which will prevail more on us for interrogation etc. I would not be surprised that HA was consulted and Hassan N. concurred with this scheme. Of course assuming the veracity of the official story is questionable, which, in the Levant, it almost always is...

Well, at least they didn't say he committed suicide by shooting himself in the head thrice...
Jokes aside: there will be no love lost with Al-Majed's death, but you have to agree that it is easy to be suspicious when there was a continuation of the proxy war between Iran and Saudi over the guy, and like one supporter of another Islamist fanatic last year, he died while in custody and going through "secret interrogations" (they couldn't find a better euphemism for torture?).

With no transparency or accountability for the authorities, this man might have been liquidated because he knew too much.
Today one less criminal is around but it is more important to know who financed and harbored him and his likes.

Good and honest people of Lebanon,

My brother is a kidney specialist in USA, and if he had kidney problems, then Dialysis could have easily taken care this saudi terrorist's problem until Iranians could talk to him .

Either he was killed by one of March 14th terrorists on Saudi payroll or this scum Saudi terrorist is still alive and was flown to KSA due to Saudi money. This Saudi scum killed a lot of Lebanese and Syrians.

with all these conspiracy theories how do you all live with yourselves? The criminal was dying from kidney failure. while being transferred from one hospital to another the authorities apprehended him. We can only hope that they extracted some info from him before he went to hell. Most of you are consumed by conspiracies its disturbing.

Thumb bill_the_butcher 16:40 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

If you cannot see that then your either blind or a of the Saud family.

Thumb freedomarch 17:05 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

isn't this guy wanted by Saudi Arabia? isn't he linked to Iran that used him like they used all Qaeda terrorists against the Gulf States and the weest?
My Bet is that they shut him up so he do not say were he was trained and who was his real master (Iranian - Rev Guards for sure.)

Default-user-icon Samir (ضيف) 17:12 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

Now it has become absolutely clear that this Al Qaeda terrorist was working for Saudi intelligence. He conveniently dies as both the US and Iranian governments were seeking access to interrogate him, while the Lebanese president receives $3 billion from the Saudi tyranny for his Army, to buy "French weapons." How many times has that happened before? The Lebanese people need to wake up, March 14 alliance is being controlled by the Saudi masters. They will ruin Lebanon as they have ruined Libya, Syria and Iraq.

A Wahhabi terrorist dies and leaves us Lebanese bickering and insulting each other . Even the dead are able to divide and conquer this small country full of small people with small brains.
I am yet to find a comment that encourages unity . A sad world we live. I'm almost ashamed to be Lebanese .

Same reason m14 is bent on forming a government without veto power to M8. One side wants to implement Saudi Sharia laws and the other side wants to veto them.

Thumb lonerider 21:53 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

Explain how a neutral cabinet would protect Lebanon from conflict when they supposedly don't represent anybody. Is this neutral cabinet supposed to be Supreme in Judgement? I respectfully await your answer.

Thumb lonerider 22:20 ,2014 كانون الثاني 04

It's all a matter of relative power. A technocrat running a ministry has to report to someone. If that someone is the prime minister, then the prime minister will have absolute power over all ministries. If the prime minister is also a technocrat then he will have to report to someone. You say that someone will be parliament. He will then be reporting to the speaker whom will then have absolute power over all ministries. That is why this will not work. This is like taking pieces of the US government without checks and balances. Having veto power for opposition is a better government for Lebanon.

Missing coolmec 00:00 ,2014 كانون الثاني 05

I hope he is far away from Lebanon

Thumb lonerider 00:18 ,2014 كانون الثاني 05

Annoy, what you suggest sounds good on paper and very idealistic and unfortunately very naive. Reality is not what you hope it is. People in power abuse power believing they are doing good. You need checks and balances such as veto power especially for a multisectarian society like Lebanon.
