الفراغ "لن يدوم أكثر من شهرين" و"حراك مسيحي مرتقب" لمواجهته

Read this story in English W460

Thank you Saudi Arabia for creating a vacuum in the Presidential post and for enabling your February 14 puppets to obstruct democracy. Lebanon will NEVER become a Saudi terrorist satellite state and Lebanese patriots everywhere will stand up to your evil schemes and terrorism.

Long live a free Lebanon! Long live a soverign Lebanon! Long live a democratic Lebanon!

Thumb general_puppet 09:37 ,2014 أيار 21

Hello Karim... so let me see if I understand this correctly. M14 has a candidate, shows up for the vote and cast a ballet for their candidate. M8 makes noise about a candidate, shows up once and cast black ballets, runs off right away in order to break quorum and does not show up for the next 3 but M14 is the one obstruct democracy.

I do agree with your last line... so what are your thoughts on Iranian Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, who said that Iran’s line of defense now lies in South Lebanon?

Thumb geha 09:50 ,2014 أيار 21

I agree with: Long live a free Lebanon! Long live a soverign Lebanon! Long live a democratic Lebanon!

so, as long as we are under Iranian hegemony, we are not free.

“The rival parties will reach consensus in mid-July or August,” the sources expected... we will need to consult the_snore to see what his sources say, you know he is never wrong!!

Keep on repeating:
Lebanese people always wanted to be part of the evolutionary modern world, please be my guest; in all countries of the modern world ,people have equal rights and that is a precondition to build a nation; unfortunately since the independence of Lebanon ,people were misled by corrupt feudals leaders backed by ignorant and hypocrits religious leaders; millions of Lebanese immigrated and hundreds of thousands were killed, and we are still counting.

popular vote for the presidency is the only way to stop outside interferences(iran, ksa , ....) and keep away sterile political parties debates and it will be made in Lebanon by Lebanese
god bless democracy (power to the people)

popular vote for presidency is the solution made in Lebanon by Lebanese

FT, Bachir Gemayel is incompetent?

Thumb -phoenix1 12:43 ,2014 أيار 21

FT, Bachir and Rene proved themselves amply before being assassinated by the Syrians. The abjectivity of it all resides in a ruthless occupier that cannot tolerate any form of insubordination by any patriotic Lebanese and that is why no sooner than they raise their heads, they're gone. Don't you wonder why such people as Aoun remain alive, and comfortably so too?

Thumb FlameCatcher 12:08 ,2014 أيار 21

None other to blame than Aoun and M8, his inability to appear as a "consentual" candidate because he's simply NOT !

M8 failed to present a candidate and is solely responsible for the situation.

Thumb FlameCatcher 13:43 ,2014 أيار 21

@FT: Aoun said many times : "I AM M14" :)

Thumb FlameCatcher 15:25 ,2014 أيار 21

Rumors say Aoun always was a Syrian agent at the service of the Assad even when he was supposedly fighting them.

Looking at the situation today, that does not surprise me...

Missing peace 18:58 ,2014 أيار 21

not only rumors but people close to him and former advisors said it... his "liberation" war was in fact a revenge against assad who promised him the presidency but did not hand it to him LOL

Clearly neither the Sunni's of Lebanon nor the Shia's are interested in having the Presidential post filled otherwise we wouldn't be in this situation. "the post will be filled sometime in July/August"... what a miserable joke! I wonder how 'ok' it would be if the premier's post or that of the speaker was left vacant. March 8, 14 or whatever you call yourselves these days are propaganda machines that are playing out regional and global agendas. Nothing is funnier than the statement these parrots whisper 'A President Made in Lebanon'. What makes it so sad is how everyone on this forum seems to believe they need to swear allegiance to one or the other like robots.

M8 AND M14 are preventing Lebanon and the Lebanese from their rightful desire of having a decent state, with social welfare, security, peace, economical growth, job opportunities , etc., etc.
Instead of fighting for foreign agendas and for personal power, as they all do, and disagree on Presidents, electoral laws, the definition of who is our enemy and who's not, and other bullshit, they should work for us, as we are the one who pay them. Lebanon became a country without hope for its children, a corrupt country where only "wasta" keeps people alive. Where politicians struggle for their own benefits and their own power, and never cared of creating a state, and even less a nation. ALL current politicians are responsible for our actual crisis, be it economical, social or political. They are managing our country at least since 1975. I say: BASTA. You failed, you leave, because you are all incompetent. In any other civilized countries they would have all retired.

Default-user-icon ralphonsoo (ضيف) 19:04 ,2014 أيار 21

All current politic statements are based on fear. M14 wants us to fear Hizballah, the fakih state , Assad ... and M8 wants us to fear Daesch, the salafists, zionists, ... And we, like lambs, in relation of whom we fear more, follow M14 or M8, not because we love them, but because we are afraid of the others. We have to wake up. These politicians are making fools out of us, and use us for their personal benefits.

It is a vicious circle. It only can be broken through a revolution, a peaceful revolution a la Ghandy. Civil disobedience until we have a state we can obey. It is a long process, but it can work....as it did in India.
