Read this story in English W460

I agree with Gemayel. We cannot pretend constitutional life can go on without a Christian president.

Aoun wont step down, he's too old next time it will probably be to late for him gmeyael must understand he has no chance, for aoun it's eather him or nothing (u know like assad said:me or all the region on fire...)

Mr. Gemayel and to all others.
Go on political strike,
Put tents
Block activities
Until you force the election of a president.
This is becoming a joke....body with no head is a brain vacuum.
Time to get actively serious and action less talk.

Gemayel is wrong. There should be no exceptions, not even parliamentary elections. That part invalidated his whole stance about being against legislation unless it's to elect the president.

Thumb nickjames 18:30 ,2014

not even an extension*

Thumb nickjames 17:16 ,2014

There should be no parliamentary elections, and the people should overthrow the government, which has proved to be incompetent. The politicians boycott elections without consent of the people. Do you see people having sit-ins and boycotting the vote?

Thumb ParvizAmir 17:29 ,2014

The Islamic Republic of Iran supports the nomination of general Aoun for the presidency. The Republic considers Aoun not only a friend but also one of its citizens.

So why is it that Aoun announced a deal was made, then Berri and Hariri both denied it?? Do you pay attention to what anyone says anymore?? Or do you have your head so far up your behind that you really believe Aoun is against extension?

Thumb nickjames 17:35 ,2014

Everything he's done and doing now is all part of his Machiavellian plan to become president. You don't use your head. Here is Aoun's strategy: if he's president, he has no problem with the parliamentary elections taking place. If he's just the FPM leader, he'll extend his term to keep his seats for boycotting purposes. Otherwise if he's not president and parliamentary elections happen, he'll lose seats and might not have enough to keep the boycott (if you really think Aoun is gonna gain seats then you should check in to a nuthouse)

Thumb nickjames 17:37 ,2014

Milk and blankets? Hahahaha do you know that Okab Saqr is Shi3a?? Isn't it funny how out of the entire M14 world, a Shi3a starting arming rebels?

Thumb nickjames 17:43 ,2014

That consensual candidate being Aoun of course.

Thumb nickjames 17:50 ,2014

Okay so you're comparing a group of Salafi scum from Bab al-Tabbaneh going to Syria, to a full-fledged militia with thousands of fighters??

Thumb nickjames 18:05 ,2014

About Saqr (I love how you brought him up): people wanted him executed after the tapes were released. So how is it that a guy arming a gang should be executed, but a militia is allowed to deploy in Syria and help a mass murderer?

Here's a refresher: nickjames is not M14, nickjames is nickjames and never said anything about Aoun being anti-Sunni.

http://www.naharnet.com/stories/en/147863-hariri-we-won-t-take-part-in-parliamentary-vote-in-absence-of-president

http://www.naharnet.com/stories/en/147820-berri-no-under-the-table-deal-on-parliament-extension

This was last week, not a few weeks ago. And not much has been said lately, due to the captured soldiers saga. It is up to Mashnouq?? Hahahahahahahaha

Aoun: “My nomination has been submitted and all options are on the table. If today's statements turn out to be true, then there will be an extension of the parliament's term as we were expecting, but we have submitted our nominations in order not to leave anything to chance,” Aoun said in an interview on OTV, only hours before the deadline to file candidacies ended.

Then Hariri and Berri denied a deal was in place.

Thumb nickjames 18:28 ,2014

You making an illusion about Saqr is bringing him up. The US are striking Hezbollah from the ground hahahahahaha. Assad isn't a mass murderer? So he didn't execute rebels in his prisons?? He didn't drop barrel bombs and destroyed his whole country's infrastructure? He didn't kill tens of thousands of innocent civilians who lived in the building that got bombed? Women and children are terrorists?

I know you won't look at this because it's doctored of course but I'll post it anyway.

Just a question: how is somebody imprisoned for 21 years for winning a horse race???

Thumb nickjames 18:45 ,2014

Lol I don't care if the others are for the extension. I'm arguing with you, you said FPM was against extension, yet Aoun comes out as the only one who says there was a deal. But of course, "we have submitted our nominations in order not to leave anything to chance"

Not to leave anything to chance?? Lol in other words he wants extension, but if that doesn't happen he's down for the elections taking place. What a psycho

Thumb nickjames 18:49 ,2014

Hezbollah is fighting ISIS hahahaha I love your narrative. Yeah, that's why in over a year and a half Assad never bombed Raqqa, Der ez-Zor or the oil fields in between. That's why Hezbollah has been fighting in Qalamoun and has some fighters in Damascus in Halab, but nowhere near Raqqa, nowhere near Der ez-Zor. Yeah, Hezbollah is fighting Da3esh lmao

Thumb nickjames 18:59 ,2014

Flamer, all I do is take things Aoun says and compare it to your narrative. And the two stories always have discrepancies. I wish I was paid to bash Aoun, it would be the best job in the world. It's not hard to compare his quotes to what his supporters say about him. Aoun was the only one who said a deal was in place for an extension, not March 14. So you go on this rant about M14 being for extension. I don't give a crap what M14 wants, I just hate Aoun and you're lying about he wants. I am arguing strictly about Aoun's self-contradictory nonsense.

Thumb nickjames 19:01 ,2014

That was for the below argument

Thumb nickjames 00:18 ,2014

Lol your narratives are hilarious. So M14ers accuse Aoun of being an anti-Sunni but at the same time they hate Saddam (who is Sunni). Self-contradictory nonsense from the one and only Flamey

Gentlemen,

All of you know that religion plays factor in the Middle East. Why is is hard to believe you can live together? If religion is the factor, remember that that reason has killed so many. Hey, just saying...been there...done that. When I hear religion being brought into an argument, I have to laugh. Fine...make it religion. Let your brothers, husbands, fathers and son's die. I hold no faith except in family and friends. Humans get you by...not GOD. Keep it up.

let me refresh your gold fish memory :
- Amine Gemayel left the house nominating aoun as prime minisiter for 3 months with a government made up by 3 christians and 3 muslims , who send the muslims back to their home after the 3 monhths were done and he failed to elect a president ? wasn't that Aoun ?

- Now Irani-owned speedy gonzlaes pajama boy who fled to the french embassy leaving his soldiers to be slaughtered after he declared a war on the only christian militia that helped him in his war against syria .

- 1983: funny how you blame the LF for the mountain war when it begun when 14 regular soldiers of the LAF were killed by PSP and when jumblat begun shelling east beirut and you forget that with PSP there were SSNP nasserites and all of your actual allies

- 1982 : SSNP your allies kills a president , 1988 your actual allies killed him
