باسيل : المواجهة مع داعش في لبنان ستكون ضارية ولكننا سننتصر

أكد وزير الخارجية والمغتربين جبران باسيل "ان لبنان سيكون هدفا أساسيا لداعش لأنه نقيض له ولحلفائه"، لافتا الى ان "المواجهة في لبنان ستكون ضارية ولكننا سننتصر".
وقال باسيل في مقابلة مع CNN ان "لبنان هو نموذج التعايش ولذلك فإن المواجهة في لبنان ستكون ضارية، ولأن لبنان رسالة للحوار والتعايش، فأنا مقتنع بأننا سننتصر على داعش".
واعتبر باسيل ان "لبنان لم يخسر حربا ضد هجمات ارهابية وهو لطالما انتصر على الارهاب، ونحن لنا تجربة في مواجهة ومحاربة الارهاب منذ العام الفين، داعش ليس وليد اليوم وقد حذرنا من أشكاله منذ سنين".
اضاف: "بالطبع المسيحيون في لبنان يخشون من داعش وكذلك في المنطقة، وعلى مسيحيي العالم ان يخشوا ايضا منه، لكن المسألة ليست فقط مسيحية فعلى العالم اجمع ان يخشى ايضا لأنه مهدد بحياته ووجوده من قبل اشخاص بلا انسانية".
وتابع: "ان اهمية الاقليات وانا افضل استخدام مصطلح مكونات المجتمع ونحن منهم، اهميتهم انهم متجذرون في هذه الارض.اهميتنا اننا نحمل رسالة تواجه فكريا وعقائديا داعش".
هذا وعقد باسيل جولة مباحثات مع نظيره السوري وليد المعلم تناولت العلاقات الثنائية وآخر الاوضاع والتطورات في لبنان وسوريا والمنطقة.
واجرى سلسلة لقاءات في الامم المتحدة، الى جانب لقاءاته الدبلوماسية مع رئيس مجلس الوزراء تمام سلام في نيويورك، والتي بدأها بلقاء وزير الخارجية الاميركي جون كيري.
والتقى باسيل ايضا وزير خارجية الامارات الشيخ عبد الله بن زايد آل نهيان، في حضور وزير التربية الياس بو صعب.
يذكر انه في الثاني من آب اقتحم جهاديون بلدة عرسال وقتلوا 19 عنصرا من الجيش وخطفوا عدد من العسكريين مع انسحابهم إلى الجرود بعد خمسة أيام.
ولاحقا أفرجت "النصرة" عن 7 منهم فيما قتل "داعش " لاحقا الرقيب علي السيد كما قتلت "جبهة النصرة " الجندي عباس مدلج.
وترفض الحكومة اللبنانية عرض "داعش" بمقايضة العسكريين اللبنانيين بالموقوفين الاسلاميين في سجن رومية.
وبحسب المعلومات غير الرسمية فإن قطر تولى الملف عبر وسيط سوري يتفاوض مع التنظيم الذي يريد الإفراج عن مسجونين في رومية.

Bassil missed a few important meetings in New York and was seen at Apple store purchasing 10 iPhone 6 for himself and his family. The Apple employee refused to sell him more than 2 per customer according to store policy. He threw a fit and shouted at the Apple employee saying " I am a VIP and the foreign Minister of Lebanon". Security intervened and he was escorted out of the store in Shame.
