باشر الوسطاء في ملف الترقيات العسكرية مهمة جديدة تقضي بالتسويق لاقتراح حل وافق عليه وزراء الرئيس ميشال سليمان وهو يقضي بتأجيل تسريح العمداء الذين يبلغون سن التقاعد مدة سنة، على أن يتم ذلك في مجلس الوزراء بقرار من وزير الدفاع بناء على اقتراح قائد الجيش بموجب المادة 55 من قانون الدفاع، بما يسمح ببقاء العميد شامل روكز في موقعه الحالي.
زنقلت صحسفة النهار عن مصدر كتائبي أن عملية ترقية العميد شامل روكز إلى رتبة لواء "فرطت، ولا يمكن أن تتمّ". وأضاف أن "مدة هذه المشكلة مع النائب ميشال عون ستكون 15 يوماً الى حين إحالة روكز على التقاعد، أما في حال ترقيته فستمتد المشكلة سنة و15 يوماً". وسئل عن رد فعل عون المتوقع، فأجاب: "ماذا يقدر أن يفعل؟ يقدر أن يعطل الحكومة وجلسات الحوار، فليعطلها ولتتحوّل حكومة تصريف أعمال. وإذا استقال وزراء تكتله فيتولى وزراء بدلاء وزاراتهم بالوكالة. في الأساس هو عطّل رئاسة الجمهورية ".

Is Roukoz really a Lebanese army man or is he working on giving the army to hezzbellah. If I were Roukoz I would tell the terator to stay out of my business and not to ever mention the true Lebanese army and just focus on this Iranian terrorist army. But maybe Roukoz is also a terator to Lebanon and to the uniform.
