دفعت المواقف المسيحية الرافضة لترشيح النائب سليمان فرنجية لرئاسة الجمهورية بالرئيس سعد الحريري الى تأخير الإعلان رسميا عن ترشيح فرنجيه.
وقالت مصادر "المستقبل" إن زعيمه كان ينوي الحضور إلى بيروت الأسبوع المقبل لإعلان دعمه ترشيح فرنجية، في حال نضوج التسوية على توليه الرئاسة، خصوصاً أن هذا يفترض انعقاد البرلمان لانتخاب الرئيس، لكن العراقيل قد تؤخر هذه الخطوة.

A presidential candidate still needs 65 votes, a simple majority of the Parliament to win elections.
FPM will not vote for Sleiman
LF's Geagea says he opposes so, no LF
Kataeb is a maybe but with very little votes
Liberal Party of Chamoun is only 1 vote.
Marada, very few.
Hezbollah, is a no.
PSP's Jumblatt is still backing Helou.
This leaves the Sunni of the Future Party, all of whom will not follow Hariri to vote for Bashar Assad's childhood friend.
So, where do the actual votes come from to get Frangieh to office? Sheik Saad needs to consult with the company accountant, it seems.
