الحريري من رأس بعلبك: لتقوية الجيش لان الدولة فقط تقوم بالمهام الأمنية

تفقد رئيس الحكومة سعد الحريري وحدات الجيش في منطقة رأس بعلبك الاربعاء، وشدد من هناك على ضرورة تقوية الجيش "لان على الدولة وحدها تقوم بالمهام الامنية".
وقال الحريري في حضور قائد الجيش العماد جوزيف عون "هذه المعركة وطنية بأعلى مستوى لدينا شهداء سقطوا حماية للبلد وللمواطنين كي يعيشوا بأمن واستقرار".
ولفت الى أن "الجنود في الجرود اليوم هم لحماية البلد ويستحقون التحية من كل اللبنانيين".
وأضاف "نحن نريد لهذا الجيش أن يقوى لاننا نريد للدولة وحدها أن تقوم بالمهام الامنية ".
وتوجه الحريري بااشكر "لكل الموجودين على رأسهم قائد الجيش الذي وعد ووفى لهذا البلد".
كذلك، أكد الحريري أن "الجيش نفذ العملية "فجر الجرود" من دون التنسيق مع أحد"، في إشارة الى الجيش السوري وحزب الله.
ورد على سؤال قال "الجيش لم يكن عاجزا عن تحرير جرود عرسال ولكن كان لنا حسابات سياسية في هذا الموضوع".
وتأتي زيارة الحريري بعد يوم من سيطرة الجيش على 100 كلم مربع من أصل 120 كلم من المناطق التي كانت تحت سيطرة "داعش"، وبالتالي يبقى على الجيش أن يحرر 20 كلم مربع بحسب مدير التوجيه في قيادة الجيش العميد الركن علي قانصو.
وباشر الجيش صباح الاربعاء تنفيذ عملية إعادة تمركز وانتشار في كامل البقعة التي حررها من تنيظم "داعش" خلال الايام الماضية، فيما يستعد للقيام بالمرحلة الرابعة من عملية "فجر الجرود".

Naive or pretending to be naive.... If the army had nuclear weapons tomorrow the iranian militia will still find a reason to exist and claim it is defending Lebanon in Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Bahrain.

Had to laugh at that one;)!
All they do is facilitate Hezbollah's land lifeline to Syria and Iran bit by bit. Hezbollah was and is crossing the border (with its tanks, rocket launchers and artillery) to wage its iranian jihad wars with the full knowledge and blessings of the Lebanese army.
The president who is also the chief commander said not once but many times hezbollah and the army are one and the same or words to that effect.

Hezbollah was and is crossing the border in its full armament at crossings manned by the Lebanese Army. I remember seeing pictures of Hezbollah tanks and convoys being saluted by army soldiers at checkpoints as they were crossing into Syria.
Let's be realistic here and call a spade a spade. Hezbollah has a stranglehold on Lebanese politics and Lebanese military institutions. They appointed the president, the army intelligence chief has to be approved by them and we all know the state of the general security.
