ليبرمان يتوقع "ربيعا فارسيا" ضد النظام الايراني

راى وزير الخارجية الاسرائيلي افيغدور ليبرمان بان "ربيعا فارسيا سيعقب الربيع العربي" نتيجة العقوبات الدولية المفروضة على ايران والتي ستثير على حد اعتقاده حركة احتجاجات واسعة.
وقال ليبرمان للاذاعة العسكرية "الربيع العربي سيليه ربيع فارسي، فعدم الاستقرار ينتشر في ايران وليس فقط في طهران" مضيفا "لا شك بان الحركة الاحتجاجية ستتعزز مع اقتراب الانتخابات الرئاسية الايرانية الصيف المقبل".
وبحسب ليبرمان فان "النظام الايراني يقترب من نقطة حرجة، فالعقوبات الدولية لم تقنع المسؤولين هناك بنبذ برنامجهم النووي ولكن المهم ان الشعب الايراني بدأ يفصح بانه ليس على استعداد للتضحية بنفسه من اجل تحقيق طموحات قادته الثورية والمتطرفة".
ودعا ليبرمان الدول الغربية للتحرك من اجل مساعدة هذه الحركة خلافا لما حدث في التظاهرات الحاشدة الاخيرة عام 2009 التي قمعها النظام الايراني.
واضاف "هذه المرة يجب على الغرب بمجمله مساعدة الحركة من خلال تسهيل الاتصالات وامدادها بالاموال وتعبئة المنظمات الدولية كمجلس الامن الدولي والاتحاد الاوروبي ومؤسسات اخرى".
وتأتي تصريحات ليبرمان غداة وقوع صدامات بين محتجين ورجال الشرطة في وسط طهران الاربعاء في اول مؤشر على اضطرابات شعبية على خلفية ازمة العملة الايرانية التي تسجل انخفاضا تاريخيا حيث خسرت اكثر من نصف قيمتها منذ الاسبوع الماضي.
وتخضع ايران الى عقوبات فرضتها الامم المتحدة بسبب برنامجها النووي المثير للجدل وتم تشديدها بعقوبات نفطية ومصرفية اميركية واوروبية والهدف من ذلك هو حرمان ايران من مواردها النفطية لدفعها الى وقف نشاطاتها النووية الحساسة.
وتشتبه اسرائيل التي تعتبر القوة النووية الوحيدة في الشرق الاوسط ولو غير معلنة، والغرب بسعي ايران لامتلاك السلاح النووي تحت ستار برنامج مدني، الامر الذي تنفيه طهران.

Whether Israel (or for that matter, USA, UK, Russia, China, India and Pakistan) has nuclear weapons is irrelevent.
The only question which needs to be asked is "Which is the only country in the UN (in the world) that has threatened to anihilate a fellow UN member ?(and the answer is not one of the above).

Hahaha FT... it is exactly the same, the sanctions condemn political choices and behaviors of the rulers, and the people pay the consequences of this behaviour. The fault is on the ruler, the victim is the people. If there are international sanctions, it means there is an international consennsus on how it is reasonable for a state to act. The ruler is free to comply or not... and pay a price for not complying...

... and Japan did not threaten to attack and destroy the American navy either... what are you getting to exactly?? What is the point in comparing a 70 years old historical event during a world war, in another era, another context, and at a time when there was no nuclear weapon that had been experimented yet...
As for barking... so far it is all that Iran can do, but in some time, the scenario will be different...

FT, first of all, why should they starve? You assured us that they were self sufficient ;)
Second, yes, when there is a world consensus, you either comply, or resign... especially when you have been re-elected in a bloodbath!
Finally, if he feels he's a victim, let him impose sanctions on the rest of the world... or he can make business with syria and North Corea...
