To Allah We Belong and To Him We Will Return. May Lord almighty rest her soul in peace and give strength to her family to bear this immense loss.

We belong to no one and will return to no one. Tut Ankh Amoun was found in the same grave where he was buried four thousand years ago, he did not go anywhere. Their allah gave them the authority to treat women as a third class servants. God save Syria and Lebanon from those fossils. My daughter is a lawyer and executive over 200 men and women are all treated the same without discrimination .

She perhaps should look like the Al Manar sexy female reporters. Maya Diab would be dressed like them if Hezbollah has their way with Lebanon.

Mowaten - read human right organization reports on Syria. Most syrians hate the regime but do not want want a KSA or Iran model. Most want the freedom we have in Lebanon minus the sectarianism. Unfortunatelly, they got sectarianism and no freedom.

Yara abbas does not wear hijab. Journalists have been killed covering both sides of conflict. With regard to argument below, there are women who wear hijab in both sunni and shia communities in and outside beirut.

Reporters, women, children, civilians and even trees should be a red line in all wars. To bad that people violate moral aspects of war. I condemn her murder even though she had diffirent opinions. I am saddened for her. Wish people could leave non-combatants out of it.

Missing ArabDemocrat.com 17:04 ,2013 أيار 27

Habibi - she was wearing a military fatigue.

Missing siyeseh 18:03 ,2013 أيار 27

Rafeh, that changes nothing. She was a reporter. All the criminals fighting in qusayr and she is the threat or the one who deserves to be killed? No i disagree with that. If she had been a anti-regime reporter killed by shabbi7a, they too would be justifying it with the same excuses.

Missing ArabDemocrat.com 19:01 ,2013 أيار 27

Siyeseh - in the fog of battle, it would be impossible to have been able to tell that she is a reporter. She could also have been killed by a stray bullet as much of the firing in combat is innaccurate. Look, I may not like and and even though one hardly can consider her a reporter (propagandist - yes), I do not wish her death or then tens of thousands that fell so far.

oh - that was badly written :)

True rafeh.

As for josh, he is an idiot and a bigot. He knows nothing and especially about the Baath he defends. He still does not answer how come the regime imprisoned, exiled or sentenced to death most of the founders of the hizb including its main intellectual driver Michel Aflak.

I remember during 2006 war, people were saying the same silly things about shiite women. Talking about hairy bodies referring to the iranian origin of shiites etc. I thought it was stupid then just like your comment and it just goes to show once again that hezballah and their supporters like to pretend they are the moral ones with no hate etc for their fellows when in reality you guys are as a extreme as the extreme wahhabies.
