The choosing of the security men entering Dahyieh is very much like the security men appointed to the airport security ! Let us see what this really means. First, there are not enough Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon to do security work in Dahyieh.
Second, Dahyieh has been exposed and open to reprisal attacks from Syria without any thought given to the fact that the fighters are attacking another sovereign state. This is because Dahyieh is a statelet, run by Hezbollah up to now, with no Lebanese state presence.
With the LAF and ISF in Dahyieh, well now there is a state presence for Hezbollah to hide behinds so that those who would attack Hezbollah have to first think about killing Lebanese soldiers and security personnel.
This can easily be seen not as Hezbollah ceding security in its statelet, but using the Lebanese state security forces as its shield against future attack. The LAF and ISF go to Dahyieh not to replace Hezbollah, but to shield it from future attack. In this way, the Lebanese state has become the vassal of the Iranian state apparatus that has been transplanted on Lebanese soil.
