Israel Plants Spying Device in Adaisseh

The Israeli army planted on Monday a surveillance device along the technical fence to spy on Lebanon, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The wireless device was installed near a post for the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon on the Adaisseh road as Israeli warplanes overflew the area, NNA said.

The post is manned by UNIFIL's Indonesian contingent.

Also Monday, Israeli helicopters overfLew the occupied Kfarshouba Hills and the Shabaa Farms area, the agency said.

In January, Israeli troops dismantled and removed two electronic devices from Adaisseh, which Lebanese authorities said were aimed at spying on Lebanon.

Israel's border with Lebanon has been largely quiet since the 2006 war with Hizbullah.

Which nation are you aware of that does not spy on its enemies -- and its friends?

Lebanon??

What nation is Lebanon exactly? who is its defender and whom does it represent?
Are the people of Lebanon real free? can they enter where they want or leave where they want? is the Lebanese government a real sovereign ruler which can control its inhabitants? control the weapons coming in? if all answers are negative you have the answer why Israel is spying in Lebanon.
Israel never started a war against Lebanon unless there were actions against Israel from Lebanese soil.
Lebanon has to blame itself form being a warm nest to terror groups.
As long its government and army can't control its own people and their action against the other side expect the continues actions from Israeli side to protects its own people.

Peace with a government not armed groups.

Egypt Jordan

Bad examples given that Egypt cant even access the sinai without asking permission from israel and jordan is even a worse example, they are practically run by israel and the people living there are stuck with the same bedoin family ruling them, a family that got its power by the same colonialists that created israel. Their "peace" was planned before the creation of jordan and israel. Even if the offical deals wasent signed until later, the unofficial agreement took place early on in favour of israel and the ruling bedoin family (who is from hijaz) but not in favour of the people living in what became jordan. Whenever jordan is used as an example for peace with israel, either honest ignorance or deliberate zionist propaganda lies behind it. No offence to those who mean no harm.

I would rather have neither of those two choices. Its really sad that lebanese cant agree on this and must choose one opressor to favour. M8 supporters will rejoice when syria strikes and m14 will rejoice when israel strikes. Of course not everyone of those two blocks do that but many do. In 2006 during the assault on south lebanon, there were celebrations in some kataeb areas as an example and whenever we hear of syrian airstrikes, many m8ers support it and find excuses for it. And we see the same concept in articles such as this one where m14ers find excuses for israel. It's bad and says a lot about why we are in this depressing situation.

@FD : meanwhile, Hezbollah hijacked Lebanon on behalf of Iranian imperialists. Just like the so called "resistance to Israel" which has shown it's true face :

Religious driven resistance movement to fight off what they consider to be threats based on sectarian aspects: Sunni, Jews ... in fact, they masquaraded themselves as an Anti-Israel movement to build up their army and justify their illegal actions until they became far too strong for anyone to say STOP !

We, the free Lebanese people now say STOP. And we will fight Hezbollah not with weapons but with words until it crumbles from within. And the crumbling has started.

Whenever Nasrallah says they are stronger than ever, it means they have become weaker !

Hezbollah has done to Lebanon what Israelis has done to palestine. But they will not succeed !

We do not need a link for that Mr Full-of-it, your view is that of an Assad/Iranian stooge.

@FD : "How was it hijacked bro"

I just told you how it was hijacked.

And M14 politicians are refusing it ! The only difference is there is no M14 army to prevent Hezbollah from hijacking the country. And they did step down... this was the GOLDEN AGE of the M8 government : A FAILURE!!!

Why don't you instead answer my comment instead of sounding stupid.

Stop whining you sound like a pair of old hags.

@southern....it's funny, you are describing what your beloved Syria did and still is doing...they bombed and are still bombing Lebanon, they stole and continue to steal, they kidnapped and murders Lebanese by the thousands etc etc...pls we are not stupid or brainwashed, if your "brother" shoots you in the head it still kills you, just as your enemy's shot would kill you.

Thumb joeleb 31 March 2014, 20:22

Oh, and I am NOT defending Israel! I never do, I'm just saying that any country that infringes on Lebanon is an enemy, whether that someone is Syrian or Israeli...stop your bias. It's funny how you all have a knee jerk reaction to call us Zionists, I don't blame you though, that how you were trained....to me, NO country has ANY right to attack Lebanon!
