Gunmen Break into Makari's Residence, Beat up Guards

Unknown assailants broke into the residence of deputy Speaker Farid Makari at dawn on Saturday, reported the National News Agency.

The masked gunmen assaulted and then tied up the guards at the entrance of the official's residence in the Anfeh region.

They then stole two shotguns before fleeing the scene.

Security forces soon rushed to the area and began an investigation in the incident.
