Seven people were killed and many wounded in an explosion that rocked a cafe in Tripoli's Jabal Mohsen.

The National New Agency said that a “suicide bomber blew himself at Cafe Omran in Jabal Mohsen and when the residents of the area gathered another suicide bomber blew himself up.”

"The two suicide bombers who blew themselves up in Jabal Mohsen are Taha Samir Kayyal and Bilal Mohammed Ibrahim from Tripoli's al-Mankobeen," it added.

The Lebanese Army in a statement stated that "a suicide bomber targeted the cafe in Jabal Mohsen, leaving several people dead."

Security measures were taken in the area of the explosion as Health Minister Wael Abou Faour asked all the hospitals to treat the wounded.

I am sure Ashraf Rifi, had a hand in this crime. The takfiris will pay for this, I am sure.

Thumb marcus 10 January 2015, 21:14

you should provide the security agencies with what made you sure so they can arrest him...(:

Thumb Mystic 10 January 2015, 21:19

Rifi to be arrested by his own security personnel? Not very likely.

Thumb Mystic 10 January 2015, 21:42

Army intelligence are working on the scene already, the perpetrators are from Yemen. Whom helped them to commit this crime, will probaly never be answered. I know that foreign forces, and insiders had a finger on this.

Judicial sources confirmed to Al Manar the alleged suicide bomber is a Yemeni national who was on a training mission with the iranian sectarian terrorist militia. He was due to leave Lebanon on Monday to join the shiite insurgency in Yemen. Initial medical tests revealed the assailant was high on cocaine when he suddenly blew himself up. Witnesses on the scene of the explosion recall the the Yemeni terrorist shouting " Labayka Ya Nassrallah" seconds before he pulled the fuse attached to his explosive belt.
Hezbollah is an internationally recognized terror organization with confirmed links to money laundering, illegal drug trade, human and organ trafficking, and terror attacks on civilians.

Again, I am against Assad in Lebanon. Try to look at both sides of the problem here. I just don't believe HA involvement caused Lebanon issues with ISIS. HA involvement, caused strife with Lebanon Sunni. The bottom line is, Syria did not have enough moderate Sunni to overthrow Assad. M14 Christians, and moderate Sunni wanted the moderate Sunni to win, but they had no bodies on the ground compared to the ISIS foreigners. I would have supported a moderate Sunni regime but it seems there is no such thing right now in our local Muslim geography except in a few places. You see, it is the moderate Sunni that needed this muscle, its the moderate Sunni that allowed these extremists to take over. Not HA involvement.

I would have preferred we had a strong LAF but we don't, and let's not pretend the LAF is sufficient to suppress the ISIS threat alone. I would have preferred HA to not go to Syria, but to stand guard on the border to prevent Nusra and ISIS incursions in to the country. However, these ISIS people that came from across the Sunni world came to Syria first. They came before HA went to Syria. We all know that. HA in Syria may have made it worse, but they were coming for Lebanon regardless. Are the Christians blind that in Syria these ISIS and Nusra killed Christians like a Turkey shoot, and desecrated churches. Again, in a perfect world we have have no Syria, no HA arms and no KSA in Lebanon, but we cannot blame HA for ISIS in Lebanon. They want to kills us regardless. Remember they have come from all over to kill the infidel Shiites and Christians. You think they would just stop if they beat Assad? Are you kidding me? Of course the Shiites a la HA are going to bring the fight to them.

Oh you're breaking my heart M8 bleeding hearts bitches especially after you spent the last few days gleefully gloating about the suicide bomber in Istanbul and the attacks in France. Faking indignantly and outrage at this is a nice touch. I got a hash-tag that is a perfect fit for you filthy whores, #je suis l'hypocrite! Put it on a tee-shirt. And don't forget to send one in XXL to Hassan el jardoun so he could wear it next time he's on TV.
It's remarkable how this is coinciding with Ali Eid being summoned to a hearing session as a defendant into the bombings of the Tripoli's al-Salam and al-Taqwa mosques.

Honestly I laughed at the joke but what happened today isn't funny. Innocent people were killed.

Thumb geha 11 January 2015, 09:01

terrorism is terrorism.
I have my doubt this was done by al nusra. not that they would not do it, rather because I believe those who did it are kids of those who were blown up in the mosques bombings.
I see this as revenge.
however, nothing justifies terrorism from any side.
