The head of the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MP Mohammed Raad stressed in Friday the need for ongoing cooperation and coordination between Hizbullah and the Free Patriotic Movement.

He stated after holding talks with FPM leader MP Michel Aoun: “Reports of tensions between us and the FPM are baseless.”

“We enjoy a common vision and joint principles with the FPM,” he added.

Raad held the meeting with Aoun at the head of a Hizbullah delegation.

He continued: “The meeting took long because of the several issues that we discussed, including local, governmental, and regional ones.”

On warnings that Lebanon will face international sanctions should it fail to fund the Special Tribunal for Lebanon, Raad remarked: “There is an external attempt to usurp our national sovereignty through the economy, security, judiciary, and all other fields.”

Aoun is later expected to make a television appearance on al-Manar Friday night.

Tensions have mounted between the March 8 and 14 camps over the funding of the STL, with the latter rejecting it and the former stating that Lebanon is bound by international agreements to fund it.

The March 14 camp has also warned that Lebanon may be slapped with sanctions should it fail to implement international resolutions.

And this one means that, of course, there is tension between Hezbollah and FPM and that Aoun is squeezing the hell out of Hezbollah now that it has found itself vulnerable and in need of the cover of "cross-confessionalism" that Aoun provides to the Hezbollah.

The meglomaniac still wants to be President and wants to use Hezbollah arms to get it for him, otherwise, he will turn Hezbollah loose and leave it twisting in the wind with full confidence that his constituents will blindly follow any policy turn that Aoun may wish to make, just like the Druze continue to follow Jumblatt through all of his twists and turns.

Smalla, I envy you all how broadly you see things and how you analyze such events. when you give such comments, you gotta be hating these men, but at least the question is who do you love and support? m14? don't you think we've seen them enough since 20 years? Smalla, we've seen who had his own telecommunication infrastructure in Solidaire. Smalla you all were happy during the past governments Era? Smalla, you are still happy paying 100$ to get private electricity, Smalla you are happy that down town is privately owned by arab investors. Smalla, you are very happy with the 60 billion public loan. Once and for all, if you wanna comment at least don't show who u belong to, because u just make yourselves fools, it's like u miss the old cabinets where all members were angels. I gotta say, now i know why more and more Lebanese don't like to even visit Lebanon anymore ( like me)
