Lifeguard, Summer Camp Supervisor Ordered Held after Kid Drowns
A lifeguard and a summer camp's supervisor were on Tuesday ordered held by the attorney general of the North district in connection with the drowning death of the child Kevin Metlej, media reports said.
The toddler, 6, reportedly drowned during his participation in a summer camp at the Sawary Resort in the northern city of Batroun.
In remarks to An Nahar newspaper, Kevin's uncle Imad Metlej launched negligence accusations against the summer camp's organizers – the boy's school – and the beach resort.
The child's body “remained floating on the surface of the swimming pool for three minutes without anyone noticing,” he said.
“Neither the trip's organizers nor the lifeguards paid attention to him as he was drowning, and had it not been for negligence, my nephew would not have died,” Metlej added.
The child's parents have also decried perceived negligence.
Security sources revealed to NNA the identity of the life guard and the camp supervisor on condition of anonymity.
The two men hail from the town of Brital in the Bekaa region, a bastion for Hezbollah. The two men confessed to their intentional negligence and in a startling turn of events stated it was their religious duty to kill and drown Christian children.
Hezbollah is a world renown terror group with links to money laundering, human trafficking, drug trade, and child abuse.

Wow, when anyone utters a word about Gaga or other murderous politicians on Naharnet, they get banned instantly, but when this douchebag makes fun of murdered children, Naharnet mods look away.
you iranian are the last creature to talk about making fun of murdered children. All of your posts are making fun of dead children in syria.
btw, how come you and your 100 other screen names are still not banned despite the fact you post sectarian comments all day long?
The tender-hearted poster @gigahabib posted the following comment when more than 163 civilians mainly women and children died in a regime attack on a vegetable market in Syria:
"gigahabib 21 minutes ago
Too bad it wasn't more."
Religion aside...this is a sad reflection of Lebanon as a whole. This was a child who was ignored either way and until it was too late. Now? everyone's in an uproar when it could have been prevented. Same goes for the rest of the population, they'll ignore the mess around them until one day it'll be too late. Perhaps people there should open their eyes instead of taking selfies every 30 seconds. Poor child, I'm sorry you had to be punished from the ignorance of others.
