Iran Reacts Angrily to U.N. Criticism over Executions

W460

Iran's state TV is reporting that the Iranian foreign ministry has reacted angrily to U.N. criticism of the country's execution of 20 Kurdish militants earlier this month.

The Saturday report on Iran's state TV website quotes foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi as accusing the West of meddling in internal Iranian affairs.

Ghasemi says, "while Iran is itself victim of terrorism, it will do its best to maintain the safety of its citizens."

His comments follow a Friday statement from the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein, criticizing Iran for the executions.

Ghasemi says that the judiciary had found the 20 men guilty of several charges, including attempting to establish a militant group, making explosives and planting bombs in Iranian cities.

You have to admire the consistency and double standards of the mullahs regime in Tehran. When they raised hell about KSA executing the known Terrorist, Al Nimr it was not meddling in internal affairs.

your claim about the U.N is not correct.

do some research and you will find the U.N equally voiced concern over Iran's executions of Christians.

At least ISIS do not pretend to be civil and tolerant (They boast about their savagery and backwardness) while Iran and their proxy militia in Lebanon pretend to be the anti-ISIS while they are the other side of the same coin

UN is just a tool for powerful nations 7abibe. It has nothing to see with justice or human rights. Most of its resolutions are turned against weak people and for the sake of the strong people.
