Syria Rejects U.N. Rights Resolution as 'Unjust'

Syria on Saturday condemned a U.N. vote on rights violations by the country's security forces as "unjust," and said it was based on false information from the regime's foes.

The U.N. Human Rights Council resolution passed in a vote on Friday was "unjust and "prepared in advance by parties hostile to Syria," the foreign ministry said in a statement carried by state news agency SANA.

The vote followed a report by a commission of inquiry that was "politically motivated and based on false information circulated by parties outside Syria and dishonest press organs," the ministry said.

Look who is talking about unjust? What you did in Lebanon for 30 years was unjust, the resources you stole from our country was unjust, the people you terrorized and killed from all Lebanese sects was unjust. What you are doing to your people is unjust...... A regime like this can not expect to last forever, you can not suppress for all these years and expect them to bow to you....

Gabby, what's going on with ASSad? Is he going to fall one and a half months ago or what? What about three Saturdays ago? You promised us, buddy. Did you extend your grace period to ASSad? Did you check with marc first or Dr. Samir Mufahmanchi? Don't tweet us. We want your comments here, on Naharnet, for everyone to read. Have a nice weekend, my friend.

Just remember the 30 years of tyrany and rape of the lebanese life. Just remember the mothers of missing sons who opened their arms to the sky wishing from God to revenge from you. your people for 30 years picked my dads crop of apples and took them to syria.. Leaving nothing to a family of 5 . sooner or later you are going to pay . how many people did you kill in the bekaa valley in the torture areas? how many mass graves do you have? Their souls are up there waiting for justice. Karma is coming get ready . you butcher of damascus. what goes around sooner or later will come around.

Genius Bingo Bullion.... do you really want to be betting on the survival of the dictator Assad? You have picked the wrong horse.

You remind me of the black knight at the beginning of the Monty Python Holy Grail movie, bragging and acting arrogant while he is losing his arms and legs in a sword fight.

Is it smart to be boasting that Assad is still in power, while every day the situation gets worse and worse for him? Have you not read the news lately?

I would recommend you sell all your stock in Assad Industries
