Hizbullah announced Tuesday in a statement that its militants have found an Israeli spy drone that crashed Monday in south Lebanon.

“The aircraft that crashed on the border with occupied Palestine has been transported to a safe location for inspection,” the Hizbullah statement added.

Israel had conducted extensive contacts with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) on Monday after the drone went missing in the morning.

Media reports said the drone disappeared while hovering over south Lebanon's western sector.

Search operations were carried out in Naqoura and Alma al-Shaab.

Hizbullah's military media arm had announced Monday that the Lebanese army had failed to find the drone due to the crash site's steep terrain.

So what? whats the significance of this article?

HA found a drone ....and?

Thumb Puppet 17 January 2017, 16:38

I respect hezbollah for seizing the israeli drone and handing it over to the Lebanese Army for immediate inspection and for not taking it to a safe place for inspection.

I also respect Mr. the_roar for questioning the significance of this article and for finishing his statement with the word 'and'.

@lubnani
you have to know the history in order to understand the grudge this troll holds against iceman. When iceman used to post regularly on the forum he made a floor mat out of this troll and his numerous fake accounts.

I am impressed by the_roar's comments so far. He is on point... always.

Thumb Mystic 17 January 2017, 17:11

Ofcourse they seize it and keep it. Now it will be used as a copy to produce drones for the Resistance.

Thumb saturn 17 January 2017, 18:47

Yes please, use them in Brital to stop those pesky car thieves and kidnappers. It's within range of the "Resistance", no? And you have those Iranian Mugha-2 and Al-Fakhr 3 drones and the Al-Hatim rockets.

The terror group of hezbollah should not be south of the Litani River according to 1701.

Missing rabbishlomo 17 January 2017, 18:24

All my respect for the Jesus like man who says that Lebanese should not be on other parts of their homeland south of the Litani.

Thumb justin 17 January 2017, 18:56

rabbi, he was talking about iranians not lebanese.

Missing rabbishlomo 17 January 2017, 19:52

Justin, good ole Lebanese, that is all that they are, good ole patriotic Lebanese.

Another irrelevant and rubbish statement by abu3igal the Saudi from texas. Many moslims I know be it of the Sunni sect or the Shia sect enjoy drinking as well as Dabki and Fairuz. Stop your bs and your lies.

Missing rabbishlomo 17 January 2017, 22:07

Ya irrelevant ya abu3igal, the issue of liquor is a personal choice amongst all moslim Lebanese and it has absolutely nothing to do with Iran or Saudi Arabia.
There are Moslim Lebanese resistance and hizb fighters that drink arak and dance dabki and listen to Fairuz in the same manner you do when you visit your adopted city of Trablus

That's great.....replicate it....you guys should be proud of a group of man that can do a good service for their country....if you are truly Lebanese, with Lebanese blood running in your veins....Hooray....no matter what your political affiliation may be....a drone that was collecting information about your fellow Lebanese crashes...and you have capable men that can bring it from a dangerously steep terrain....I don't see how you can not be but proud....

Missing msowid 18 January 2017, 13:43

This is not the first time that a drone has crashed....and in most of the cases, it was turned over to the official Lebanese Authorities...I am pretty sure of that....
But for some reason Hizbullah wanted the data that was recorded, or wanted something else....so what....we do not have a good government here....you all know that....we have a bunch of gangsters running the country....don't tell me you can deny that....
