Hizbullah: CIA Using U.S. Embassy as Base to Recruit Spies

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

The Central Intelligence Agency has been operating form the U.S. embassy compound in Awkar to recruit agents to spy on Hizbullah, the party’s al-Manar TV station reported on Friday.

It said the CIA’s current chief in Lebanon is Daniel Patrick Mcfeely, 45, who replaced Louis Kahi after quitting in 2009.

Mcfeely has a diplomatic post at the embassy and works with a team of 10 officers, including women, to recruit spies tasked with gathering information on Hizbullah, al-Manar said.

The report came after former and current U.S. officials told the Associated Press last month that Hizbullah has partially unraveled the CIA's spy network in Lebanon, severely damaging the intelligence agency's ability to gather vital information on the party.

Hizbullah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah also boasted in June that he had unmasked at least two CIA spies who had infiltrated the ranks of the organization.

Al-Manar said that the meetings between the CIA officers and the spies were held at MacDonald’s, Pizza Hut and Starbucks.

The people who have illegal communication networks and cameras to spy on people in Lebanon are complaining about the US embassy?

Who ordered the rape of Beirut? Put Nassy on trial.

Everyone understands that someone being paid by the CIA or Israel is considered a spy.

But can someone please explain to me why someone working for Iran is not considered a spy?

Iran does not recruit from all sects, they recruit only from one sect. Is this in Lebanon's interest?

Hezbollah was FOUNDED and STARTED by Iran. Hezbollah receives 90% of their funding from Iran. Hezbollah is on the payroll of Iran. Hezbollah receives arms and bombs from Iran. Hezbollah gets militia and terrorism training in Iran. Does any need to be reminded that Iran is a foreign country?

Hezbollah members have been INDICTED for the killing of a former Prime Minister, and the political leader of the Sunni sect. Hezbollah is a subordinate division of the Iranian Quds Force, led by Qassem Suleimani. There is no possible way that Hezbollah could have carried out the murder of Rafik Hariri without the explicit orders coming from Suleimani.

Working for a foreign government is TREASON!!
